That was not the intention I promise . My mom has a camera so will try to have her take some pictures on thanksgiving. Hopefully will not be so skinny by then.

1x15@ 100 lbs

Tricep press down
1x25@ 70 lbs

some stretching and abs

November 16

I skipped lifting friday to play the new Elder Scrolls: Skyrim game because I'm a huge dork . Almost happened again today, but was too guilty so went in. Eating has been good the past few days though, with calories at ~3400. Will keep at that for a couple weeks to see how bodyweight goes, then adjust as necessary to keep it going up till around march I think. It's just now starting to get sort of cold here, at least in the morning and at night, which is making it easier for me to eat more.

November 21

Deadlift
1xsome@bar
1x10@135 lbs
1x5@185 lbs
1x5@225 lbs
1x3@245 lbs
1x1@265 lbs
1x1@275 lbs PB

Pull Down
many sets up to 10@120 lbs

Hamstring Curl
1x12@50 lbs
1x10@70 lbs
1x10@100 lbs

Some shoulder stuff + stretching

Planning on some bigger better pbs before the end of the year. Namely bodyweight over 185 lbs and squat over 225 lbs. This means no more skipping meals and no more skipping lifting, even if I have to go at 5 in the morning to be sure it gets done. More curries will be had as well

Gym has been closed since thursday, so no real training just some pull ups and goofing around :( Thanksgiving dinner was quite shit as well. My mom wanted to go to this new asian buffet, so we did and it was the least vegan friendly asian restaurant I've ever been to. The only food in the place was steamed rice, fruit, lettuce and vegetable sushi rolls. So, I had like 20 sushi rolls, a big pile of rice and all the kiwis and peaches they had. Got a tasty tofu curry afterwards, so the night was not a total loss.

November 28

Bodyweight up to 175 lbs (79.4 kg) still eating tons

Squat
1x10@ bar
1x10@ 95 lbs
1x5@ 135 lbs
1x3@ 155 lbs
5x5@ 175 lbs

lots of puffing between the last couple reps on set 4 and 5 but got through them

Overhead Press
1x10@ bar
1x5@ 60 lbs
1x5@ 75 lbs

Left elbow wasn't liking it, so stopped just in case. Seems okay now, but after the whole situation with my shoulder, I'm being a bit of a pansy with that sort of thing. Shoulder is doing well though, just sometimes a bit sore when warming up, but it goes away. I'm thinking now It was bench pressing that was the problem maybe, and squat just made it worse, but really I have no idea.

Pull Down
2x20@ 90 lbs

Plank
2x 45 seconds

Think I will make a pumpkin pie this week, because it's like the best kind of pie. Maybe will make two :P

Been very busy, so no pumpkin pie this week   Hopefully monday I'll get that together

11/30/2011

Overhead Press
3x5@ 75 lbs

Bench Press
3x9@ 100 lbs

Pullups
4,3,3

Chest Supported Row Machine
1x15@ 55 lbs
1x10@ 75 lbs
3x10@ 95 lbs

Plank
2x 60 seconds

Didn't have time to pick up different clothes before heading to the gym and nobody there to spot me, so did some lightish benching instead of trying to deadlift in jeans

12/2/2011

Squat
1x10@ bar
1x10@ 95 lbs
1x5@ 135 lbs
1x3@ 165 lbs
1x2@ 185 lbs
1x1@ 185 lbs - just tired and no concentration
3x9@ 145 lbs - could have done another few reps each set but was puffing so hard I couldn't be bothered

some pull downs, face pulls, leg raise thingies and stretching

Got to see a guy bench 405 lbs (~184 kg) with a ~2 second pause on his chest. Apparently, he did 455 lbs (206 kg) with no pause a couple weeks ago. He is one of the few serious lifters that comes to my gym, but he is only there sporadically. Normally he goes to some place out of town.

1x5@ 135 lbs
1x3@ 165 lbs

1xf@ 185 lbs

just no power left :(

2x3+2 push press @ 75 lbs

it's like 2 weeks since I put anything in my log

Been working way too much these last few weeks so I won't have to work much these next two weeks and it's been taking it's toll. Only making it to the gym 2x a week and then I pretty much just squat and go home to eat/shower/sleep.

I broke my cheap velcro lifting belt on a 195 lb squat last week, so going higher reps again till my new belt gets here from buzz. I was planning to wait till I could fit the XL before I got one, but tape says only 33 inches around the middle so had to get large. I ordered the 13mm double prong one, mostly because it said SPECIAL PRICE £ 34.99 in orange letters underneath and I figured I might as well go way overboard if it will be a bit cheaper.

Bodyweight up to 180 lbs (81.6 kg)

Been relying on chinese takeout to keep calories up, which is very easy and tasty but not so cost effective

Squatting and going home is WAY better than nothing at all! Sorry your belt broke, too, but your new one won't let you down! :)

I ordered my belt late monday night and Buzz sent it out tuesday  Now is the slow part though. Hopefully it doesn't take too long because 10 rep squats suck

!2/21/2011

Squat
1x10@ bar
1x10@ 95 lbs
1x5@ 135 lbs
1x10@ 155 lbs - almost passed out i think :?
2x8@ 155 lbs - the first set took so much out of me, just couldn't get the other two :|

Overhead goofing around with some guys testing max
1x10@ bar
1x5@ 65 lbs
1x3@ 85 lbs - push press 3rd rep
1x1@ 95 lbs - push press
1x1@ 105 lbs - pb for push press because I never tried before, but feels good anyway :P
3xf@ 110 lbs - triceps too weak

Pull ups
3,3,2

Seated Cable Row
2x25@ 70 lbs

Squats pretty much killed me. I think 155 lbs really is my 10 rep max because that last rep was very possibly the hardest thing I've ever done; till the 8th rep on the 3rd set at least, that was possibly tougher. Lungs gave up after the first set though, so much puffing going on thought I might just die in the squat rack  . Thinking maybe it's time for some cardio, possibly do something fun for my birthday tomorrow, like hill sprints  Probably not though

Turns out I'm lazy, so no hill sprints yesterday. I did do some "box" jumps onto the hood of my car, which is a small hatchback, so not very high. Was fun thoough, so will look into getting some safe things to jump on in the yard.

12/23/2011

Gym is closing really early today and will be closed till tuesday, so went in for a quick session before lunch.

Bench
1x20@bar
1x10@ 95 lbs
1x5@ 120 lbs
1x1@ 135 lbs - failed 2nd
1x8@ 115 lbs

Pulldown
1x20@ 80 lbs
1x12@ 110 lbs
2x5@ 130 lbs

Dips
4,3,1

Cable Tricep Press Down
1x25@ 75 lbs
2x8@ 115 lbs
1x7@ 115 lbs

I'm feeling stronger with reps on bench, but nothing going on with max. I was hoping to get 150 lbs up before the end of the year, but haven't really doing anything about it, so very unlikely.
