Thanks, a bit more in there, maybe 120+

Squat
10xbar
10x95 lbs
2 second pause all reps after this
5x135 lbs
3x185 lbs
6x2x205 lbs

It's way heavier with the 2 second pause at the bottom, wasn't sure I was going to make the second rep on a couple of those sets actually.

tons of tricep pushdowns after that, then home to eat

Couldn't get to the gym on saturday. Didn't die though, so wasn't too bad. Eating was terrible last night and today though. Was without power all night and most of the day because of crumbling infrastructure and a tropical storm. So, only ate peanut butter sandwiches and protein shakes.

5x135 lbs

Psssh! Storms got nothing on me! :)

6/26/2012
Front Squat
10xbar
10x95 lbs
10x115 lbs
5x135 lbs
5x155 lbs
1x185 lbs
2xFx195 lbs
3x2x150 lbs

had to use the shitty rack because someone was deadlifting in the power rack (only available place now) so just walked out past the safety bars. Stayed inside on the 195 lbs because I'm a huge pussy and hit at the bottom then lost it. Moved everything over to the power rack for second attempt and lost if forward coming out of the hole. 150 lbs after that was fucking ridiculous, felt so heavy

various shoulder prehab stuff, and a couple attempts at figuring out how to snatch. Been watching lots of videos and still no idea what I'm meant to do  Same things with cleans too, completely lost on them.

tried some overhead squats with an empty bar, very wobbly on those  . might start doing them as part of my warmups.

Yesterday was shitty. Upper back was fried and ended up missing a 235 lbs squat :x

Did a couple of doubles at 190 lbs then went home to eat a box of builder bars. Fell better now, but forgot to order more protein powder, so have to pick up some ridiculously expensive stuff today.

Thanks Adena!

I stepped on the scale this morning before getting in the shower and I lost a half pound since last week :(
I'm obviously not eating enough, so will have to work in more calories, hopefully without having to spend more money.

Squat
10xbar
10x95 lbs
5x135 lbs
3x185 lbs
5x205 lbs
5x215 lbs

Pullups
10, the rest doesn't matter 8)

Tons of tricep press downs, some wrist curls and stretching after.

Not feeling so weak today, upper back finally decided to get over front squats from tuesday.

Strange thing happened as I was leaving the gym today. Was talking with the lady at the front desk and she asked me what that exercise I am always doing with the bar on my back is called  Seems squats are so rare at this gym that the lady working the desk since january doesn't even know what they are. How did that happen? Squats are the most awesome lift (snatch and clean are not quite as awesome) and nobody does them.

Quality work. 1.5bw is a milestone. Also almost caught me on bench now!

Thanks guys!

Squat is going well, making crazy progress lately, but bench I'm still working on. Have changed my technique recently and seems to be more stable and less stressful on my shoulder, so hopefully that will lead to more consistent results. I was actually thinking about just dropping bench all together, because I don't care much for benching, but I've almost decided to bench twice weekly instead starting monday.

A family friend has a condo on the beach, so stayed there yesterday and didn't get home till late last night, so sleep was not optimal. Probably a bit dehydrated as well, been chugging water all day.

Went around to 5 different gyms today, and was not impressed. One place had a whole room of benches and not one of the 5 or 6 flat benches had uprights. I guess they don't want any heavy benching going on. There were a couple incline benches that did though.

Another place had all Ivanko bars (way nicer than the bars at my gym) and plates, and a glute ham bench, but only one squat rack with two different kinds of smith machines and a curl rack next to it. It was more like a nightclub with exercise equipment and cost almost twice as much as my current gym at $673.10 including taxes and a $50 sign up fee, or $60 a month if you don't want to sign a contract. And, if I want to take pilates classes, whatever the fuck that is, it's extra. Zumba and cardio kickboxing are included though 8)

The others weren't really any different than the one I'm going to now, except they have extra things I'm not interested in and one is not as good but way cheaper. I actually like that one best and would definitely go there if the equipment was just a bit nicer, but it's hard to complain about a place with a swimming pool, racquetball court, steam room, jacuzzi and 24 hour access for $150 a year.

Ideally, I'd like to find a place with decent bars, bumper plates, and lifting platforms, but that is unlikely without driving more than an hour to get there.
