today's sonicpill: refused - new noise (the shape of punk to come / 1998)
If you get any pain while riding I guess you could slide back the cleat on your bad foot (you'll need to drop the seat a little too) to focus the pressure away from your toes. Seems like you'll be OK as it is though.

today's sonicpill: thurston moore - illuminine (demolished thoughts / 2011)
i resurfaced that refused album ("the shape of punk to come") after hearing the new much anticipated anthrax, which contains the cover version of "new noise". i was expecting too much from them, with belladonna getting back in the band. the album ("worship music") is not bad, but not close enough to classics like "among the living" or "spreading the disease." some songs are better than others, some are far too artfully melodic.
... so excited by the new addition to my classical music collection: "the works of arnold schöenberg", the father of dodecaphony! i'm still in the middle of mahler's symphonies, but i think i'll alternate them.
17:25 joint mobility: 30min trx: - 3 x 15 chest press - 3 x 15 cross - 3 x 15 hands on handles push up - 3 x 10 feet on straps push up bodyweight: - 3 x 15 stuart mcgill sit-ups - 3 x 15 back-extensions
... bikes clean, edge 800 set: ready to go!
today's sonicpill: pj harvey - on battleship hill (let england shake / 2011)
nice! didn't know of the new Anthrax. definitely like them best w/ Belladonna. My last drummer introduced me to Refused. cool stuff. sort of reminds me of Quicksand, but more aggressive.
oh and PJ is just so awesome! need to pick up the new one.
12:09 rb: 20,62km/21,10km ... this was more a gadget ride than a bike ride, since i was constantly looking at and checking the new gps device (garmin edge 800). i wasn't sure if it was going to point out any stopped time, but it did accordingly to garmin connect's stats report. the one strange thing is that gamin's stats differ from those of ride with gps. garmin says i rode for 20,62km, rwg says it's 21,10km. my previous gps devise (forerunner 305) established this route was about 21km. but my question is: why 2 different stats from the same device?
i'm still not sure whether i like more garmin's summary or rwg's. i tried to frame them, but they don't fit on the screen. here are the links: - garmin conncet - ride with gps
