Thank you boys, I appreciate it!

Oh, carrot flowers, for me? :)

Today's workout: Body Combat. It was a new choreography, or maybe not so new but first time for me.
Not sure I like it! I think it lacked flow, kind of incoherent. They're creative with their press-ups though, "The Comodo dragon"
was kind of fun.

Deadlift: 65 kg, 4 x 6.

Bench press: 35 kg x 5, 40 kg x 5, 4, 4. 35 kg x 5. Arms still a bit tired from yesterdays body combat.

Shoulder flyes: 5 kg, 3 x 8.

Seated cable row, one arm: 32 kg, 3 x 8.

Seated calf raise: 40 kg, 8,8,6.

Neckraise: 20.

Plank and sideplank.

Then, veggie lunch buffet outdoors. And then, I had a tiny but very strong person attacking my muscles in many wonderful ways
for a full hour. Thai massage FTW! She made my entire spine pop, from top to bottom! No masseur or naprapath has been able to do that before.
Think I should do this on a regular basis. :)

Today I joined a friend at her gym, she wanted to do 3 x 10 sets so I went along.

This gym had 1,25 kg weights so I tried adding a little to my bench press 1RM and got a new PB!

Bench press: 5 x bar, 2 x 40 kg, 1 x 45kg, 1 x 47,5 kg (PB), 0 x 50 kg (my spotter got nervous when I got stuck at 2 dm and gripped the bar, MIGHT have nailed it otherwise). 30 kg, 3 x 10.

Squat: 45 kg, 3 x 10. Too light but made them extra deep.

DB shoulder press: 8 kg, 3 x 10. Supersetted with tricep pressdown at "5", 3 x 10.

Some super slow crunches.

Nice!

Impromptu PB's are the best ones, I find...

Yes and it doesn't hurt if an omni that presses less than you is watching! :)

Today:

DB bench press, arms alongside body: 13,5 kg, 4 x 6.

Deadlift: 60 x 5, 65 x 5, 70 x 5, 75 x 4, 60 x 5. A guy came up and suggested I do these without shoes, since regular

sneakers like the ones I have lift the heel a bit which could be bad for balance. Makes sense I guess although I´m not sure

I should take advice from someone in a hoodie tank top who does quarter squats..

Seated calf raise: 40 kg, 3 x 8.

Flyes: 6 kg, 3 x 8. Supersetted with shoulder flyes: 5 kg, 3 x 8.

Abs: Leg raises on bench, then side planks.

Neck raise: 20.

I just got back from a Body Jam class and it was so much fun, loved it! The instructor was great

and the choreography hard but not impossible. Sweated like a maniac.

Rounded off with some chins: 5, 4, 4.

I was on my way to the gym today, forcing myself in spite of low energy and an upset stomach.

But I forgot my season ticket and had to turn back from the tube station. It was clearing up and

quite warm so I decided to catch some sun on the hill behind my house. Did some yoga in my undies and felt great

afterwards, stomach-ache gone and all of my chakras neatly piled up. :) Quite content not being indoors squatting.

Bench press: 35 kg x 5. 40 kg x 5, 5, 4. 35 kg x 5.

Box squat: Experimented with a board plus weight plates, tired myself out somewhat on the first two sets which were quite deep.
Added a couple of plates and did the three last sets about an inch below parallell.

55 kg, 1 x 5. 60 kg, 3 x 4. 55 kg, 1 x 5.

Pulldown: 50 kg, 2 x 6, 2 x 5.

Triceps, rope overhead extension: 36 kg x 6 + 5. 32 kg x 6 + 7.

Back extension: 10 kg, 3 x 8.

Bicep curls + calf raise on one leg: 9 kg, 3 x 8.

Neck raise: 20.

Leg raise on bench: 12.

Nice, go with the flow why not. This is either the enlightened Taoist way to train, or a convincing excuse for being lazy.

Yay, box combat today at last! It's been a while. It was fun and felt good to get some hard condition training.

I thought the BP and pulldowns would suffer from yesterday's boxing and press-ups,

instead those felt easy while squatting was really challenging. :?
