Bench press: Bar x 10. 35 kg x 5. 40 kg x 5. 42,5 kg, 3 x 5.

Snatch: Bar x 5. 25 kg x 5. Felt a pinch in my shoulder and stopped.

Shoulder prehab exercise: 30.

Had to stop there and go home to do laundry... :(

Well it's the thought that counts!

Bikram yoga today again, I actually enjoyed it more today and it wasn't hard to breath like the last time.
They do say that it takes a few times to adjust to it. I also drank more water before the class and skipped
the tanktop, may have helped a little. I still don't like the military style of the instructors...

Bikram yoga 90 min. I'm starting to like it - but not enough to get a membership that costs twice as much as my regular gymcard...

A friend of mine did the proper Bikram course and kept a blog you might be interested in. From her description it sounds like a cult more than anything. Saying that I have been meaning to go to a class with my sister for ages to try it myself.

Thanks, I'll check it out!

I agree it seems a little cult-ish... The teachers say some strange things and they all say EXACTLY the same
things, word for word. You should try it though, it's quite interesting, but be prepared to suffer the first time! :)

Today I took my fourth class and I've gone from suffering to sort of enjoying it, to really liking it today! I'm actually
going to miss it a little, mostly the warmth, will probably treat myself to the occasional drop-in...

111227: Back at the gym after very little physical activity during the holidays apart from long walks. Food has been high in protein
and fat as well as carbs. :) The results were inconclusive: seemed to have a little extra oomph in my arms but then deadlifting was rather underwhelming.

Bench press: Bar x 10. 40 kg x 5. 42,5 kg, 4 x 5.

Deadlift: Bar x 10. 50 kg x 5. 70 kg x 5. 75 kg, 4 x 5.

Seated calf raise: 35 kg, 3 x 10.

Dips: 6, 6, 5.

The dragon, with 10 kg plate: 10 each side.

Some planks and prehab stuff.

Whoa, wait. Isn't that just like saying you ate a lot? There isn't much more to caloric food than protein, fat, and carbs!

 I did eat a lot but I also think the food was more calory dense than usual. A lot of faux meat, cream, candy...
Hardly any fiber or water in there unlike the food I normally eat.

You're very kind vegan hal but DL wasn't really that great... Heavier weight went up more easily the week before. :)

Good benching today, nailed a rep max that I'll dedicate to vegan hal. :)

Chins: 5.95... Tried for a PB but missed it by a few cm.

Bench press: Bar x 10. 35 kg x 5. 40 kg x 5. 45 kg x 5, 5, 8. Easy! Where did that come from? :D

Squat: Bar x 10. 55 kg, 3 x 10.

The dragon: 10 kg plate, 10 each side.

Prehab stuff - shoulders, neck, hips.

I'd like to thank everybody who's been following my log for all the encouragement during 2011 and wish
you a very Happy New Year! <3
