Thanks pumpkin! How's you training going, any special preparations for the South African beach season? ;)

111019:

Squat: Bar x 8. 60 kg x 15 (PB). 65 kg, 3 x 5.

Bench press: Bar x 10. 35 kg x 5. 40 kg x 5. 42,5 kg, 4 x 5.

Seated calf raise: 30 kg, 3 x 10.

Back extension: 10 kg, 3 x 8.

Pull down, two handles instead of bar: 50 kg, 3 x 5. Lost my place while doing something else in between sets, decided to call it a day.

Nice Rep PB, anything more than 10 would kill me right now!

Thanks frostfire! :) Yes it's a bit chancy to do supersets with machines, isn't it, you want to be efficient but may
as well end up loosing time... I like your new avatar btw, looking ripped!

Circuit training today:

Warm up: KB swings x 30.

Then 4 rounds of the following:

Lunges holding 10 kg plate above head, 10 each side.

Jumps onto bench with feet together: 10

Dips off bench: 10

Burpees: 10

Leg raise on bench: 10

Cool down: Swings with lighter KB x 20.

30 min altogether.

Body combat class. First time I tried the latest release, liked it! There was a
blocking move I haven't seen before, from karate I think.

Squat day, with lighter weight for a change.

Squat: 50 kg x 10. 55 kg, 3 x 10. 50 kg x 10.

Chins in between squat sets: 4, 3, 2, 2, 1. Turns out that hardly ever doing them hasn't led to improvement.

DB bench press: 16 kg x 6, 6, 3. Grip and wrists betrayed me here, interrupted. Supersetted with

DB triceps extension: 11 kg, 3 x 6.

Back extension: 10 kg, 3 x 8.

Calf raise on one leg w 10 kg plate: 3 x 10.

Straight arm "press-ups" on knuckles x 10.

It's quite convenient if you're squatting in a squat cage that has a bar/handles for chins! Resting your legs while working upper body. :)

I think I may also do this for my light days. On heavier days i need the rest :(
JS - They think it will open the door to folk like LordMuppet campaigning for a threeway?

Do you get a high pulse? I don't remember if you do any specific cardio training.

Body Combat today, better enjoy this release that I like while it lasts! Run into Cammo78 who had the same errand.
