140115: Yoga at home for 90 min. Trying to maintain that extra flexibility I gained from doing yoga daily in 25-30 °C!

140117: Acro yoga class 2 hours. Followed by 1 hour of bouldering. :)

Today: Acro jam 3 hours, working on some of the sequences we learnt at last weekend's workshop. Also played with some
classic acrobatic stuff like foot-to-foot.

140120: Acro yoga, open jam class. Continued to practice stuff from the recent workshop and felt that I've taken things to a new level, excited! :)

Today: Bouldering. Did some pistol squats afterwards and leg-pressed training buddy. Also tried max chin-ups and did five, which was actually quite
encouraging since the bar was very thick and I've pretty much had a 6 months break from chins. Should be able to do 6-7 reps with a normal bar!

Rope climbing today, hands still messed up from yesterday's bouldering but it was fun. Haven't really had anyone to climb with
since I got the green card so it's been a while.

140124: Open acro class. I grabbed the other two in the room with some experience and mostly based them.

Today: Acro jam. Nailed the "thunder kitten". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gqh9LOUQO8M

Hmm, I've been thinking about what I want with this training log. It used to be about following my strength gains and refresh
my memory about what weights I used and how many reps I did last week. I'm not sure posts about climbing and acro yoga is
of much interest to others. And for it to be really useful to me I ought to be writing more details about the exercises I practice,
which would be pretty incomprehensible for everybody who's not an acro practitioner...

I hadn't even heard about acro yoga before you mentioned it here, I find it pretty interesting! Too bad more people on the board aren't practicing so that you could get more feedback.

Cheers hakko - yeah we need to have a vfw soon so I can hold an acro workshop! After that there will a bunch of acro yogis on the board. 8)

140128: Was supposed to be cardio day, but after two intense days at a mindfulness instructor course I didn't feel like going to the gym
and jump around on a step board. Went home instead and did hatha yoga for about 90 min.

Yoga a home again for an hour, guess you could describe it as power yoga. Also some chin-ups.

140131: Bouldering for an hour. Finished with some squats: 20 with bar OH and 2 x 10 jump squats with bar.

140201: Acro yoga jam, 3 hours. We did everything in this video for warm-up - and because there were a couple of things we hadn't tried before:

The reason being that there will be a solar immersion - 5 days of acrobatics - in Berlin at the end of July! :D

So there's been some acro training since last update and today I got around to
a little weight lifting! Wanted to squat but the only cage was occupied, seems the new year's crowd is more persistent this season...

Clean and press: 30 kg, 5 x 5. My shoulder held up pretty well.

Deadlift: 5 x 5 @ 60, 70 , 3 x 80 kg. Comfortable.

DB bench: 16 kg: 4 x 6. The weight was quite comfy but shoulder felt a little funny, like I can't tuck it properly.

Leg raise off bench x 20.

Neck raise x 20.

Aerobics class, 1 hour. This instructor has some pretty difficult choreographies, which doesn't stop a bunch of frail old men
from coming to the classes, eventually learning the steps and making little jumps and twirls. <3 8)

Hey girl, yeah I guess I'm mostly lurking these days, saying welcome to new members and checking if any threads need moderatin' (they never do, seems the currently active members are very well-behaved :)). I decided the log didn't fill any purpose for me right now since I'm basically only training acro yoga and climbing - hard to write about in a way that I can use to go back and follow progress or that is comprehensible to others. I'm following your Berlin thread - spending some time there this summer. 8)
