More VF crack smoking -log

Postby Kati » Mon Sep 08, 2008 8:56 pm

My VFW crack goals were obviously too easy: Capoeira training started last week and I really enjoy it so will definitely continue. I thought I signed up for 1 hour of training / week, but it seems to be twice for 1,5 hours / week + music lessons. All the better. Just came from playing floorball. And scored  Still missing the gripper though. Anyway, I need new goals.
I won't probably be updating this log much before next year. My goals are for next year mainly.

Before next VFW I will

- continue weekly floorball
- continue twice a week capoeira training
- take a few days hiking trip
- go for a couple of days canoing trip
- update my first aid skills
- take any chances of playing games (make chances of playing games)
- swim almost every day in summer
- swim at least once a month any other times
- bicycle as a main transport at least until end of October and starting again latest in April.
- proper walking when out with dogs, which would be around 10-15 hours / week

And when travelling (not gonna be too relaxing time..)

- do a divemaster course (scuba /PADI)
- try surfing
- take a couple of days rock climbing course
- take a thai massage course (we can then have a thai massage workshop in next VFW..)
- try thai boxing
- swimming when not diving

and learn sailing if I find a good chance
(just missing the golf thing I guess.. maybe I should try that too :D )

also

- start eating proper lunches (and breakfasts) from now on.
- sleep 8 hours / night

- and do some extra things

we'll see. Crack..

I will add gym once a week and daily stretching and fysiotyherapy moves for shoulders from now on.

Everything else goes pretty much as planned but dogs are with my parents so much that I don't walk as much as I thought.

hey kati!

in the mean time, since i realised i HATE regular pressups, and you have such a huge list of things to do, could i transfer my crackpipe goal of 100 pressups to you? :D
Next time, I'll spend the money on drugs instead.

Nice idea, maybe I can take everybody's goals ..mm... but no :D
I'm not even sure what a pressup means

Meanwhile, I'm doing the "extra things" of my list. Just participated an mma-session yesterday. So you can have a match with me during next VFW!?

This is terrible but now I have to admit that I have stopped doing any sports.
I had a few weeks (and more) break because of getting ill, then going out of country and then hurting my ankle.
And now it is so dark and depressing in Finland this time of year that it feels almost impossible for me to do anything that is not really really necessary.

How to get motivation now for sports?

Just do it, don't think. Schedule the training is probably the best way. Good luck!

Try something new that you have not done before?

Suggestions:

Fencing, Long Jump, Shot put, Ice skating.

What are you doing in your avatar? Looks like you are trying to put up an umbrella on a windy day!

Yeh, that's the best way for almost everything. I like your thinking 8)

Good. But lately, they almost always cancel..

Trying new stuff definitely good idea. I might wait for Thailand with that though. 1,5 months more..
Oh. Umbrella. No no I'm playing Finnish baseball there.
Love it. The bad thing is that it is impossible to play anything outdoors this time of year. Well it is not impossible, but impossible is to get people to play with me outdoors this time of year.

I have so many excuses. But it is always like this in November, December. Spring brings back the hope.

Ha, swimming today (with friends).
And of course I've been continuously walking with the dogs every day many times a day so it's not like I wouldn't be moving at all..

Looking forward to my 2 months diving training.

Getting back to my Vegan Fitness week goals.. I have so far done

Before next VFW I will

- take a few days hiking trip .............did several

- go for a couple of days canoing trip ....... one day only

- update my first aid skills ... yep did EFR course

- take any chances of playing games (make chances of playing games) .... always

- swim almost every day in summer... well, I guess I've also been swimming, but at least diving and in the water all the time

- swim at least once a month any other times .... I did occasionally only

- bicycle as a main transport at least until end of October and starting again latest in April.... yep

- proper walking when out with dogs, which would be around 10-15 hours / week ... kind of, yes. Not usre how proper though, could have more energy.

And when travelling (not gonna be too relaxing time..)

- do a divemaster course (scuba /PADI) .... DONE

- try surfing... not yet

- take a couple of days rock climbing course .... nope

- take a thai massage course (we can then have a thai massage workshop in next VFW..) ... nope, but Thai massage continuously

- try thai boxing ... done

- swimming when not diving.... sometimes

and learn sailing if I find a good chance ... nope

also

- start eating proper lunches (and breakfasts) from now on. YES!
- sleep 8 hours / night YES! Almost both...

- and do some extra things ... as always

Didn't do these two because there's no floorball or capoeira here where'I've been now:

- continue weekly floorball
- continue twice a week capoeira training

Pretty happy with myself now :)

Will start scuba dive instructor training now.. I think.. still a couple of days time to cancel..
Anyway, if I do it, then of course reduced course prices for vegan fitness people! :)
