No session is ever wasted; even if it's just to work on technique a little, to get the blood pumping, to keep your mind in the game or just to stay in the flow of the routine, it's never wasted! (but I do know how frustrating it is and how hard it is to see that when it happens to you)

Well done on the competition by the way, impressive scores and PBs all over the place! Looking forward to seeing your new training plan :)

Thanks. Yah you're right, I was quite sore for a few days so it can't have all been for nothing.

Still trying to work out what the program will be, but it won't be very interesting. Just trying to figure out where I can sneak in some running...

Tuesday, 17/7

Went to Norfolk for 4 days, had a nice break from work but was really missing the gym.

BW: 75kg

Squats
5 x 50kg
5 x 70kg
3 x 90kg
2 x 110kg
5 x 125kg
5 x 135kg
3 x 140kg PB
...last rep on the triple I started to pitch forward a bit, but that's fair enough. I think without the two sets of five beforehand I should be right for a set of five at the end. Target for next week: nail 5 x 140kg.

Core stuff
Decline situps: 15, 10
Laying leg raises: 20, 10
Side bends: 2x10 with a 25kg dumbell
Hypers: 2x15 with a 10kg plate

I've been far too lazy in checking out people are training these days, but your squats have gotten monstrously strong. Unbelievable. I think I remember watching you squat an 80 or 90kg PB once upon a time!
