Excellent work mate
was there a time we weren't at war; when we knew what our hearts and hands were for?

I had a glass of wine by the fire and was reflecting further over your progress.

I found myself nodding slowly and the following phrase running across my mind.

'a worthy adversary ... a very worthy adversary'

this is me reflecting

Was planning my progression for tonight and was thinking 130, 140, 150. Then read you jumped from 135 to 150kg.
Was there logic in there?

No logic behind it, just chose those numbers and it felt fine. When running up in a non-comp scenario I usually try and minimise the really heavy reps because they can take a lot out of me.

The bar has been set, smash it up!

Monday, 14/5

BW: 70kg

Deadlifts
2x5 x 70kg
3 x 100kg
2 x 120kg
1 x 140kg
1 x 160kg
1 x 175kg SB
f x 180kg
...not deadlifted for two months, and only twice this year so far. Shitty rep progression for an attempt at 180kg... in hindsight should have done 135, 150, 165 into 180. But 175kg is +5 on what I did at the Greater Londons last November, so I'll take it. I have a club comp coming up in July so I'll aim for 180kg+ then.

Bench
8 x 40kg
5x5 x 60kg

DB bench
8 x 22.5kg
5 x 22.5kg
5 x 22.5kg

Side bends
Laying leg raises
