1x3 - 90kg... this felt a bit too heavy with no spotters... blergh
5x3 - 85kg... better

OH press

3x11 ... was tired when I did these and was sloppy... were more like hypers

Chatted to Martin about progressing and I'm going to be coming back to the gym next term. He also recommended I join GBPF so that I can train during the term breaks and potentially compete down the track...

Thanks mangomagic, I am training at the club in Bethnal Green, a few minutes from the tube station. The gym is run as part of an adult education centre. For insurance, apparently.

Well in that case, expect big things :)
I've actually just finished that cycle, it was just a starter 2 days per week one for beginners, that I modified slightly as I train 3 days per week.

I'm starting a new 6 week cycle next week, I have no idea what it entails, it's just something Martin reckons I should do for strength. Some of the other guys were doing it over the last few weeks and it looks like it's low rep high intensity stuff. Should be fun.
