qualifying in the 74s would be awesome. More people to lift with/against than in 67.5kg I think

Great to hear you are going to try sprints. My knee continues to improve but it's been a month so going to cough up the dough and get it looked at. *sigh* need to find physio friend ;)

Oh and hey upload the video already :)

500lbs is the next big deadlift goal, it will fall one day.

To me qualifying for the 66kg class doesn't mean much. There are so few competitive lifters in that class for a good reason, it's too damn light!!!

Glad to hear about the knee, hopefully a physio can sort it out.

And I will upload the videos tonight. Just want to edit out a lot of my rambling.

Yeah see where you are coming from but for me 66kg means something cos it would involve me dropping a lot of fat and keeping the strength. Don't intend to stay in that weight class though. Once lean and mean then a sensible bulk is on to qualify for the next class up and so on :)

How far are you off a qualifying total in the 66's? You'd need something like 160/90/185 so you'd not be far away from that if you gained a wee bit on each lift.

Having been quite light myself only 18 months ago, I don't think I could bear dropping that much weight again. I feel a lot more comfortable around high 70's / low 80's.
