Finishing up week 2 of round 1, phase 1 of P90X. I've been blogging faithfully about it and I'm already seeing serious fitness gains. Pushups on my toes! And more pushups on my toes! AWESOME

Delts are still on 8 lbs. I suppose that the more I work with those the better they'll get. They're definitely my weakest muscle, even my tris are on 10 lbs. Upright rows, certain bicep exercises, overhead press and such are all on 12 lbs. Certain chest/arm exercises are at 15 and some at 20.

I'm very aware that I now look thin, but I don't look *fit*. I want more muscle def. I realize that will take time, like everything....

Realize it's been AGES since I updated, so...here goes!

I'm in my second phase of Chalean Extreme, prepping to start P90X2 in June. I badly need a second 25lb dumbbell and two 30s, but am making due until the next paycheck. :) Heavier weights are expensive!

I'm doing well. This winter was nowhere near as hellish as last year's, and this may be the first winter I didn't go inactive, get sick, gain back weight. I've gotten sick ONCE and I maintained. Happiness is!

I have some update pics but am waiting to post them as I'm in the middle of a new workout program and want to finish it out before I start. I'll be having before and after pics, don't worry!

Okay, final stats post Ultimate Reset:

Weight: -5lbs
Waist: -1.5"
Hips: -1.5"
Thigh: -1"

Just started P90X2 last night, it's awesome! :D

Got back from the Beachbody coach gathering in Vegas very early Monday morning. I had the chance to work out live with Tony Horton, Dr Mark Cheng, Shaun T, and Leandro Carvalho. It kicked ASS. I got to fist bump Tony Horton, woooo! He's a great guy, very nice and very funny.

Received my P90X certified dog tags and clothing, eagerly awaiting my certificate. That puppy's getting framed, just gotta figure out where to hang it. :D

Also got a second 25 lb dumbbell. Now I need a pair of 30s...and I'm starting to see why people invest heavily in those SelectTech weight things...

Also, I need new user pics across the board...and I had the chance to look through my older entries. I can't believe how far I've come since I started, seriously. And I'm cringing at my meal logs. How could I have been vegan and active and eaten that few veggies I'll never know. O_O

Is P90X something similar to crossfit? A group exercise regiment that mixes resistance training and cardio?

I'm not too familiar with Crossfit. P90X is indeed mostly resistance training with some cardio, and has three phases with recovery weeks in between. I like it because as long as you plow through it, the likelihood of plateauing is minimal if not non-existent. Most people get the best results in the third month, so I encourage people to stick with it until then.

Yes, I tried the participating Subway in historic Ellicot City out. I had the vegan riblet sandwich. This particular Subway, unlike the others in my area also offered baby spinach and two kinds of iced tea, one of them unsweetened.

The links in my sig stay up until the vegan sandwiches stop being an experiment at the discretion of a few Subway owners and become a franchise wide policy :D.
