BJJ.
Worked with few takedowns plus counter to single-leg takedown: Sweep with darce choke and sweep with kneelock.
Sparring for 20 mins.

My relaxness is lost... It's strange that it disappears so fast when not able to train often...

Day of the snatch:

16kg 3 min 65 reps
24kg 10 min 130 reps PB!!!!
32kg 2:49 min 37 reps

I was totally exhausted with the 32kg after the PB with 24kg...
Next time I'll try to max with the 32kg.

Thu 01.10.09

Terrible week at work... I have done 13 hour days so I hadn't any time to train earlier this week.
I went to get a back massage on monday because my back was cramping when I was laying down. The therapist said that I need to go back next week because he did not get my muscles to open with 1,5 hours massage...
It was really jammed up.

Today I managed to do my first workout for the week...

Jerk:

2x16kg 10,16,24
32kg 12/12 12/12 12/12

Windmill:

24kg 6/6 6/6 6/6

Bent press:

24kg 6/6 6/6

My right shoulder joints are hurting pretty bad... Hope they aren't septic... F*ck!

Sat 03.10.09

First BJJ session with our new coach for 3 months.
Mr. Delcio Nunes Pereira from Brazil came to teach us with BJJ and MMA.
First session was great. We had 2 black belts to teach us the same time :)
I'm satisfied that he did not submit me too many times :) hehehehe
I didn't manage to sweep him... Someday I will!! :)

Basically we worked with different type omoplata setups, defends and counters.

Mon 05.10.09

BJJ.

Worked with one type of takedown, cross-arm drag -> take the belt -> hook the angle -> hook the thigh -> sweep.
Then one choke from cross-over lapel and neck. GOOOOOD SHITE!!!
My training motivation has never been this high in Jiujitsu! It's like I've started this thing again :) I cannot wait for the next session!
Tomorrow I will be helping Professor Delcio with the BJJ basic course.

Tue 06.10.09

BJJ.

I was helping Prof. Delcio with translations, etc for the BJJ basic course.
I get to train some tech and physique at the same time. We haven't seriously done any self-defence technique of BJJ, so now I learnt something new as well.
Escape from front choke plus juji-gatame. Pass your head underneath -> grab shoulder -> another arm grab neck -> raise cross foot to hip -> sit down -> drive your other foot to neck -> tighten your knees -> boom!

We focused very much on physical conditioning of the newbies... Just this one technique that we did in separate parts.

Thu 08.10.09

13.00 Girya:

I showed Prof. Delcio some technique with Girya and we did some sets of swings, cleans and snatches.
Also:

24kg 5 mins @ 15,2 rpm = 76 reps = 364,8 kg/min = 1824kg total

20.00 MMA:

The whole training constructed pretty much around one major combo.
Punch, lowkick, single-leg takedown, pass the guard, kata-gatame.
We did lots of different versions.
Few rounds of sparring. Other dude punches and other tries takedown.

I haven't done MMA in over a year. Nice training!

BJJ (NoGi)
Arm-drags and 1-leg takedown.
3x5 sparring

BJJ- Basic course (Helping out Prof. Delcio)
Repeated the frontchoke escape + armbar and did another variation of the escape with a hipthrow to armbar. Standing "sidechoke" escape to side plus takedown. We always finished the takedowns to knee on belly.

Tue 14.10.09

BJJ. Helping with the basic course.
Another blue belt joined to help, so we practised the tech they did on monday and on tuesday's mma session.
It was a defend to 1-leg attack: sprawl-> same side hand from ear/neck line to arm -> another arm to underhook wrist -> push knee through arms and hook the other hand with feet -> roll-on -> change the uke's hand to other armpit.
