Snatch:

16kg 3min @ 20 RPM = 60 reps = 320kg/min = 960kg
24kg 10min @ 12,3 RPM = 123 reps = 295,2kg/min = 2952kg(PB!)
32kg 10/6

Windmill:
16kg 6/6 6/6 6/6

Bent Press:
16kg 6/6 6/6

I managed to pull off a new PB with the 24kg Snatch!

Nice lifting dude, heavy-ass squats!

Do you have a programme you're sticking to for KB work or is it sort of made up on the spot?

I've got a bunch myself and I think a KB cycle could fit into my training sometime soon, I would be interested to hear your recommendations for the best way of going about that...

Thanks man!
I basically have a program. I do snatches and jerks 1-2 times a week.
But I figure them out on the spot and try to do my best every now and then.
For jerks I have a more specific program, but not for snatches. I do them by a feeling. I do complementary moves, but I figure them on the spot and depending on the energy still left.

What do you want to achieve with the KB?

My aims would be general conditioning with a bit of fat loss. I used to just do a circuit of swings c&js and snatches, and progressed by decreasing rest between circuits. It was awesome fun, but after a while I fancied going back to barbell stuff. Now the 'bells are looking a bit tempting again :D

How many bells do you have in your disposal?

Oh'yeah! Time for some morning deadlifts.
Here's how they went:

120kgx5
130kgx5
140kgx5
150kgx5
170kgx5

Deadlifts from knee level:
130kgx10
120kgx10
100kgx10
90kgx10

I'm totally satisfied with these lifts, since I have not deadlifted over 1,5 years.

The last set weighted as hell!! with the 170k my legs weren't keeping up in the last reps, but I got em up with my back.
I gotta try to go heavier next time :)
I will start from 130-140k, so I have more power left to the last sets.

I will try to lift 190 next time. If that comes up, then 200 :)

I catched a flu at wednesday so I had to rest till today...
I did not feel 100% loaded, but did this set anyhow:

Sun 13.09.09

Snatch circuit:
I beginned with my right hand (weakest first) and then left.

Right:
32kg 10
8kg 10
24kg 10
16kg 10
32kg 8
8kg 10
24kg 8
16kg 7

Left:
32kg 10
8kg 10
24kg 10
16kg 10
32kg 10
8kg 10
24kg 10
16kg 10

About 6 minutes per hand.

Sled-pulls 15 secs per set:
64kg backwards
52kg forward with straight hands
24kg back to sled rewinding

Throws with 16kg 20meters, 4 different throws

Bent press
16kg 6/6 6/6
Windmill
16kg 6/6

I had couple of training partners with me and the other partner started puking his guts out after the first pulls, he literally puked everything out :)
I hope he feels ok by now.

Tue 15.09.09

Horrible training session. I was completely out of power before I even started and my mindset was not there either. I had to rush through my training because I had to pick up my kids at 17.00 and I had only 30 mins to train... I will never train like this anymore!!!!!!

Jerk:
2x16kg 10,16,24
2x24kg 10,16
2x32kg 5,4
2x16kg 10

Clean:
32kg 10/10 10/10 10/10

Second set with 24's was horrible... Tech ended at 10 and then it was done......... 32kg jerks are not even worthwhile to comment..... SUCKED!!

maybe tomorrow I will have a better day with BJJ..............
And I look forward on the weekend workshop too :)
