Cheers mofos! Still 25kg behind my all time best :D Hoping to get back to about 120ish before my comp in the end of july, that should do it.

slowly, slowly...

OLYMPIC SPORTS GYM

Today, a monster session with crews from Catts, Sugden, Dungeon and home crew of Olympics + two new lads.

For me it was highs and lows. Tendon complained after the deadlifts, and it looked like i cant do anything after that, so that was a bit of a downer. But got some work in which lifted the spirits a bit.

Vertical jump showdown to increasing height as a warmup, me vs. Millsy - got owned!

Deadlift
5x60
3x100
3x140
1x180
1x200
2x220

tendon not happy.

Tyre flip singles - maybe 5.

tendon not happy.

some dragging.

And then 112kg farmer duck walk carry for 20m + fucking heavy drag medley, which was solid conditioning work.

tendon now a bit better.

Stone was there, calling to be lifted to the 68.5 inch platform.

fx90 without tacky
1x90 with tacky

Sandbag carry, 70ish meters

and some other sandbag work.

just jump on boxes mate. or stairs, or what ever is at hand :D

So its not a real vertical jump in that sense. Should do the marker ones one day as well to get a measurement. I know for a fact that i am not as good jumper as some guys who i leave behind simply because i am fairly flexible in the hip area and pull my legs up fast to gain height.

Today:

1hr walk + 15 min interval running in a park

2x160 - PB - bring it on!

A PB already? Where's the fanare? Or are front squats not very important for strongmen?

Thanks Talyn - i am really looking forward to it already :D

Obviously as it stands i cant take part into the powerlifting comp, but perhaps instead of squat i could front squat, and instead of bench i could overhead lift :D

Back into the graft today, wee session with .flux.

OLYMPIC SPORTS GYM

Not recovered from saturday, when i was not recovered from thursday, so was not sure what to do.

When in doubt, front squat.

And followed Mark Cleggs detailed scientific routine of:

[quote="MarkClegg"]
Feel Shit - Take it easy
Feel Good - Train Hard
Feel Hardcore - Train your Bollox Off !!!!!!!

and went light.

Front squat
5x60
5x90
2x110
2x115
2x120
2x125
2x130
2x110

farmers
3 x 60m x 52

sandbag work
few x pick up, run 4m and load to platform.

Tried couple techniques and i think i have my favourite.

Timed one of the runs, 7 seconds. Something to improve on.

I get some of my best workouts when I feel like horseshit. I think it's mainly mental.

i hope i get a great one tomorrow - big session coming up!

Somehow managed to inflame rotator cuff, or rear delt, or something in there, so no pressing this week. Painful when i raise the arm. Dont even know where i hurt it so i will blame some random thing, like using the computer at work.

SUGDEN CENTRE

10 mins cross trainer full fucking blast

i miss cardio, should make time for it since i seem to enjoy it

gunz

triceps

1hr yoga, tons of spinal twists and pelvis/hip area stretches.
