About 20 strongmen decended on this poor place leaving behind damage and destruction. Fucking mental session really - so many things happening all the time around us. At times felt like a spectator and was difficult to keep on doing your thing. Took about 4 hours
Great day though, great crew, impressive gutsy stuff from the newcomers, and the good old beasts never disappoint with 300+ dead
lifts, 175 and 200kg stone loaded to all kinds of heights, 380 yoke, tyre being flipped like a pancake and so on.
My stuff:
Deadlift
5x70
3x120
2x170
1x200
1x220 - dare i say easy?
Log
rubbish work with the log today. The Shame.
Tyre
1 flip
6 flips - tough, but great overall work.
112kg suitcase farmers for 20m and 3 flips with the tyre - set of the day, over the moon about this because it closely imitates the first event at the comp i am training towards. Looks doable now. The Hope.
Stones
loaded 90, 120 and 140 stone to 49-50ish inch. Tendon giving some grief afterwards, but i have to start pushing it a bit.
Started nailing cissus supplement couple days back, seems like solid evidence for tendon recovery behind it.
Upwards and onwards!
