went in with one mission in mind, max strict press. Felt pretty beat so everything else was a bit half hearted.

Strict press off blocks
5x50
5x50
1x50
1x50
1x70
1x80
1x90
1x100
1x106 - pb

pretty important pb for me, it was in 2008 when i did 105, and then tore my pec and it has taken me this long to get back to it...

deads from 14.5 inch
5x70
3x110
1x160
1x190
1x220
1x240
1x260

quite bullshit pulls

then some stiff legs and tried to do my push press graft but wrist too sore - maybe deserve some time off them anyway :)

hehe yeah thanks :)

marathon session with olly today at OSG

axle
fair bit of warm ups, wrist was bothering which messed up the belly cleans.

went up to 115, messed up the 125

kev then encouraged to try flull hitler cleans
5-6 sets of 2-3 reps with 75

will stick to it and slowly work the weight up, might be a good skill to have in axle for reps comps

squat
5x70
5x100
5x120
5x140
5x160
5x170

more reps that whole autumn squatting put together :D felt good, but hard to do fives!

deadlift
5x70
1x120
1x170
1x200
1x220
1x240
felt easy, and no pain in the hamstring, hmmm.... may as well:
1x265 - pb :D

and, dare i say, more in there!

4 sets of machine rows.

Deadlift pb and no carrots, maybe you have totaled annihilated the crop of carrots you have been so busy lately?

thats true, they are painfully rare :D

Fun long banter filled session today.

axle
lots of work, no progress, on full cleans
did some power cleans too up to 105

log
3x70
1x90
1x100
1x110
3x110 - all off floor, comfy

it was then revealed that the log we have counted as 70kg is in fact 72 - so should i now go back and amend all my pbs up by 2 kg? so 130 becomes 132 and my todays triple is with 112?

strict log
3x70
1x90
1x100
10x80

pull ups, supinated grip
3x bw
1x +10kg
1x +20kg
1x +30kg
1x +35kg - pb
17x bw - no pause in the bottom

then lots of gun and delt work in preparation for the new years party...
