...and there was a reason for feeling shitty. Had fucking flu (again)! Overall not so bad, but muscle/joint ache was quite strong occasionally, especially in legs.

Today:
Bench press:
20 @ 20 kg
10 @ 60 kg
10+10+11 @ 80 kg

Strict press:
12+12+10 @ 40 kg

Abs machine:
2x20 @ 35 kg

Session felt better than expected after flu. Ok, it was quite short one, but still...

Squat:
20 @ 20 kg (rear, barbell)
20 @ 50 kg (hip belt)
15 @ 80 kg (hip belt, knee wraps)
F+F @ 100 kg (hip belt knee wraps)

(Tragicomic) Push press:
8 @ 50 kg
2 @ 60 kg
F+F @ 70 kg (almost)

What a shitty session! :D

Ashtanga yoga! My first time. We had 1.5 h basic session. Not bad at all!

After yoga it's nice to train with weights:

Pull/chin up:
12 underhand @ bw
4x6 underhand @ +10 kg
10 hammer @ bw

Cable curl (machine shows too much weight):
4x6 @ 50 kg

What a sick winter, especially February!

I'm planning comeback to training again. Doctor said that I could try easy training on next week or something.

So, what happened:
Beginning of Feb I got flu (again). Turned to bronchitis, about week after that I had to visit doc again because of breathing problems. I was getting out of breath and every gasp sounded terrible. There was inflammation all over in both lungs. Got antibiotics and after that cortisone pills, probably virus caused bad asthma. Now it's getting better with heavy dose of asthma inhalators but it'll take maybe month to get lungs work well again.

Eating cortisone causes catabolia, but it was only for 11 days, so shouldn't be big problem. Anyway, I feel that I've gone physically so down in about a month... Only places that looks big are cheeks and belly. Maybe I'm just feeling worse than reality is, still it's only month break.

Only one way, and it's up

Sorry to hear, that's really unfortunate getting all of that crap! Good it's getting better at least, hope you'll be able to restart training next week!

Thank's for your support!

Feels just so frustrating because can't train at all. With "regular" injuries usually there is at least something to do.

I think it's enough moan now

Felt quite fine today, so I thought that easy gym training can't be wrong.

Bench press:
20 @ 20 kg
15 @ 60 kg
8+8+9 @ 80 kg

Strict press:
3x8 @ 40 kg

Cable pushdown (machine shows too much weight):
3x8 @ 60 kg

KB one hand strict press:
10 @ ~16 kg

Not as bad as I was expecting. Oxygen uptake seemed to be quite weak, had to gasp and cough quite much after sets. But looks like there's still some hope

Rear squat:
15 @ 20 kg
10 @ 60 kg
10 @ 80 kg
Couldn't do more, inner thigh muscles started to cramp. So tried to continue with alternative exercises...

Leg extension (machine):
3x10 @ ?

Leg curl (machine):
3x10 @ ?

Calf raise:
3x15 @ 30 kg

Cross-trainer (with legs only) for 5 min.

Squatting was awful. Legs felt worse than I expected.

Row (apparatus with chest support pad):
15 @ 80 kg
3x8 @ 120 kg

Cable pulldown:
15 @ 55 kg (rear)
7 @ 70 kg (rear)
5 @ 90 kg (underhand)
3 @ 100 kg (underhand)

Some abs crunches, supermans, back strething in apparatus.

With normal breathing during reps (out when pulling, in when releasing) isn't enough. Have to take some extra breaths after few reps or gasp after set. Felt dizzy after sets and took quite much time to stabilaze for next set. Overall quite happy for todays condition. Lungns are not so slimy anymore.

Bench press:
20 @ 20 kg
15 @ 60 kg
8 @ 80 kg
5 @ 90 kg
15 @ 60 kg

Strict press:
20 @ 20 kg
3x8 @ 40 kg

Cable pushdown:
8 @ 30 kg
2x10 @ 25 kg hmmmm...

Hip belt squat:
20 @ 50 kg
15 @ 80 kg (knee wraps)
1 (F on 2nd) @ 100 kg (knee wraps)

Rear squat:
20 @ 60 kg

Calf raise:
30 @ bw

Abs machine:
2x10 @ 50 kg

Some abs crunches (twist), supermans
Speed bag for couple of minutes

Felt bit like training! Legs were much better than last time, 100 kg with hip belt exceeded my expectations after last creepy session.

Underhand chin up:
10 @ bw

DB curl:
2x10 @ 15 kg

Cable pulldown:

High rep session:

Bench press:
20 @ 20 kg
3x20 @ 60 kg

Strict press:
3x12 @ 40 kg

KB one hand shoulder press:
12 @ 16 kg

5 min with crosstrainer, ~170-200 W power, no problems. Lungs are getting better.

High rep cycle continues:

Hip belt squat:
20+20+30 @ 60 kg
15 (F on 16th) @ 80 kg (knee wraps)

Calf raise:
2x30 @ bw

Happy with belt squatting! It was bit high with this set up (hip ~couple of cm too high), still that 30 reps with 60 kg gave good feeling.
