Yes, usually it just won't raise at all when trying to raise back up. I'll do it like this:
1. bar is on the floor, I knee to attach belt to bar with chains/strap
2. I get up with help of hands (grabbing cage lever & pull my self up)
3. then I go down until plates will touch floor
4. then up, if possible

So I try to follow "normal" squatting with starting actual squatting from up position. Depth will vary, belt etc. will stretch a bit depending on weights, setup isn't exactly same in every session. Definetely it's not deep squatting with this kind of bar/belt setup.

Today:
Push press:
15 @ 20 kg
3x10 @ 45 kg

KB one hand shoulder press:
15 @ 16 kg

KB clean & press:
5 @ 27 kg

Back is still fine. But I'm thinking how much it will stand. Is it fully recovered, who knows? Probably it won't be better than it was, only way to get some clue would be new MRI...

Bench press:
20 @ 20 kg
10 @ 60 kg
10 @ 80 kg
3+2+1 @ 100 kg
20 @ 60 kg

[quote="JP"] variations! :D

Ok, let's try some, with 20 kg plates:
Image

Hip belt bar squat:
15 @ 50 kg
10 @ 80 kg (knee wraps)
F+F @ 100 kg (knee wraps)
1 (F on 2nd) @ 100 kg (knee wraps, WITHOUT plates)

So it wasn't best/strongest day for this anyway, but I could estimate that those plates affected about -10 kg to weight. Depth could have been quite close to PL-requirements with this setup.

Then some swimming & diving in pool. I tried how long way I'm able to to dive, it was 36 m in depth of about 1-2m (close to bottom of the pool).

DB bent over row:
3x6 @ 50 kg (difficulties with left hand grip, as usually)

Push press:
3x10 @ 50 kg

DB hammer curl:
3x10 @ 18 kg

Cable pushdown (this pulley shows too much weight):
10 @ 60 kg
7 @ 70 kg
5 @ 75 kg

some abs

Felt tired & little headache. First few reps felt good, but then it was just struggling.

We've been on holiday and I haven't train much in last 1,5 weeks: one beach soccer game, some push & pull ups, pressing with water cans etc.

Today I went to gym:

Bench press:
20 @ 20 kg
10 @ 60 kg
8 @ 80 kg
6 @ 90 kg
2 @ 100 kg
1 @ 105 kg
2 @ 100 kg

Row apparatus (with chest support):
10 @ 50 kg
8 @ 80 kg
7 @ 90 kg
6 @ 100 kg
6 @ 110 kg
4 @ 120 kg
4 @ 130 kg
Those are the weight of the plates I put on it, but because of leverage I think it was bit easier as the plates showed. I couldn't do 4 bent over reps with 65 kg DB.

Push press:
10 @ 50 kg
5 @ 55 kg

Cable pulldown:
10 @ 60 kg (rear)
8 @ 75 kg (rear)
6 @ 85 kg (underhand)
4 @ 95 kg (underhand)

Training in Estonia, Pärnu:

Yesterday:
I visited one spa's gym, that wasn't made for me. No bench, no barbell at all, so tried to do whatever could:

5 min rowing
leg curl
leg extension
ab. machine
DB bent over row:
3x12 @ 35 kg (heaviest db)
Cable pulldown:
2x10 @ 70 kg (rear)
2x7 @ 90 kg (underhand)
calfraises

Today:
I found better gym for me:
Bench press:
20 @ 20 kg
12 @ 60 kg
2x5 @ 90 kg
2 @ 100 kg

Row apparatus (with chest support):
15 @ 40 kg
10 @ 70 kg
6 @ 90 kg
4 @ 100 kg

Push press:
10 @ 20 kg
10 @ 45 kg

DB one hand shoulder press:
10 @ 17.5 kg
I didn't press more because my back has been sore today, probably just too soft bed, but no risc taking at the moment!

Cable pushdown:
15 @ 25? kg
12 @ 30? kg
7 @ 35? kg

Swimming in cold sea.
Rent tandem bike + trailer for daughter for 1 hour. It was fun, long vehicle. :P

About 2 h soccer training (mostly playing). Feels now more familiar than couple weeks ago and I was able to do some goals also. I'm not talent in soccer and especially ball control is extremely poor. So just trying to run around fast and get in good place.

Ring pull up:
4x12 @ bw

DB bent over row:
3x8 @ 45 kg

DB hammer curl:
2x12 @ 16 kg

Hands are hurting, rings are too thin, DB's lever too thick, hard to keep a grip :P

Yesterday I went to play soccer first time after braking my back almost 2 years ago. It was local amateur tournament, 17 teams, we lost in final, that was a good achievement I think. I played 5 first games, made 2 goals, but then my back got bit achy. Probably just muscle thing, but I didn't want to take risc...
