I don't know how does it feel to have knife sticked in back, but I could assume it's something like this.

So now it's all fucked up again with the back. I slipped a bit on Sat, didn't fall, but instinctively made strong correction movement probably damaged that disc which was recovering from previous injury. Wen't to doctor yesterday, now I'm on sick leave at home. Can't sit/stand/walk properly. Today there haven't been any "knife sticks" in lower back that makes breath hold and to kneel, so maybe it's slowly stabilizing again.

It's not the pain that is pissing me off most strongly but the fact that recovering started from beginning. So it's at least a year again to recover somehow. Taking part in summer football season is looking more and more desperate. And same thing with almost everything else that I'm used to do.

ARGH!

Ho Ho f*****g Ho, here I'm coming again

Rupture in the disc relapsed couple of weeks ago. Now acute phase is getting over, I can walk, stand and s(h)it somehow again. Sick leave ended today. So went to train carefully after work day.

Bench press (with PL-belt and stand under feet):
20 @ 20 kg
10 @ 50 kg
2x6 @ 80 kg
2x10 @ 70 kg
Felt bit unsure with back so I took this quite easy.

Dip:
3x8 @ bw
This can be done quite well.

Some slow supermans with very small raise of hands & legs.

Crosstrainer 30 min. Beginning with about 160W, started to raise resistance after 25 min, ended with about 300W. Good sweat for a long time! :P And looks like this boring exercise is suitable for back, no problems/pain and felt "stable" all the time.

Underhand pull-up (bw):
4x8
4x6
4x5
3x4
4x3
= 100 reps total, took 1 hour

Had quite bad headache, almost gave up in half a way.

Crosstrainer 30 min. Most of the time effort was about 160W, raised resistance in the end, max was 700W.

I carefully tried punch mitts with mate, no problems with back at least with light straight punches. I guess I could do more these in near future, when back recovery has progressed.

Haha! Hope that biceps will reach that level too some day, what comes to pullups, those are my weakest point at the moment. When I was younger (=read: less fat) my max was much more, over 20. Not any more, but feels like power endurance is still decent.

It's soon month after damaging back last time. Recovery has started quite well (*knocking wood*), 3 weeks ago I couldn't do much more than side-lying with plenty of strong painkillers. Now I can walk quite well, sit etc. And even do some exercises as well. Even that the list of banned exercises and sports is pissing me off, it could be much worse.

Today:
Close grip bench press:
20 @ 20 kg
10 @ 50 kg
3x7 @ 70 kg
2x4 @ 80 kg

Dips (bw):
3x10

Cable pushdown (machine shows too much weight):
3x10 @ 55 kg

Bench press:
20 @ 20 kg
10 @ 50 kg
5+5+5+6 @ 85 kg
10 @ 70 kg

Cable Standing Decline Chest Press (machine shows too much weights):
15 @ 25 kg
12 @ 30 kg
9 @ 35 kg

Little by little... as usually.

Underhand pull-up (bw):
15+11+10

So, 15 is my current max right now. Throat is bit sore, could be just an allergy, but we'll see...
