Imagination needed again, no bench press, pullups etc. for next couple of weeks. There was blood vessel bleeding on left eyes retina and it need to recover without too much pressure. Doctor said that it would be ok to do one hand training. Back should be better after year recovery, maybe it would stand some lightweight KB training:

KB one arm shoulder press:
2x10 @ ~17kg

KB clean & press (every rep from floor):
3x15 @ ~17kg
1+3 @ ~27kg

Cable pushdown (machine shows too much weight):
3x10 @ 60 kg

DB bent over row:
4x6 @ 45 kg (grip problems with last sets, especially with left hand)

DB hammer curl:
3x10 @ 18 kg

After training I wondered why my legs are so sore. When calculating those reps with both hands it makes 98 reps for legs. Not much weight, but still quite good effort when trying to do reps fast.

Yes and no :P Hurts everywhere, but still feels great! Well, there was only 1.5 week total rest, but I haven't done those KB things for long time (over year or something) and same with clean & press overall, so that's why muscles are so sore. Different kind of stress for muscles than e.g slow belt squat and bench pressing.

[quote="JP"]Good to finally meet you on saturday! Was a great day out!

I'll second that! Thank's again for good show! Hope that we can offer our cheerleading also for Patrik.

Today's weird training:
Almost every place hurts and I thought that I'll continue with unusual training to get me totally done. 8)
So, some kind of a armwrestling training with cable cross machine and bench, pulling (wrestling) from up and down pulley. Same sets for right and left arm:
10 @ 10 kg (down pulley)
10 @ 15 kg (up pulley)
10 @ 15 kg (down pulley)
10 @ 20 kg (up pulley)
10 @ 20 kg (down pulley)
10 @ 25 kg (up pulley)
F @ 25 kg (down pulley)
10 @ 30 kg (up pulley)

Short sandbag session.

Ok, probably not much sense with today's training, but couldn't figure much wiser training for this time

One hand cable pulldown:
15 @ 20 kg
2x8 @ 40 kg
4 @ 50 kg
1(right hand), F(left hand) @ 60 kg

Hip belt bar squat:
15 @ 50 kg
10 @ 70 kg
4(F on 5th) @ 90 kg
2 (F on 3rd) @ 100 kg (knee wraps)
2 (F on 3rd) @ 100 kg (knee wraps)

Calf raise:
2x30 @ bw

KB clean & press (every rep from floor):
5 @ ~27kg
15 @ ~17kg

Haven't done belt squat for a while, felt quite shitty.

Thank's for reminding me to update the table, we're 11 kg apart after updating  But you have good chance to beat me soon, I still can't do any DL/ front squat because of back injury. Maybe I could squat some day, but DL... I don't know about that.

Eye will heal in couple of weeks when blood will shag off from retina's surface, just a regular "bench pressing eye injury". And it's not that bad, there's only blurred spot, otherwise I can see quite well. I think I could start easy bench pressing (with concentrating on breathing) on this week.

Today:
1 h boxing, hard cardio, sparring with only body punches etc.

KB clean & press (every rep from floor):
5 @ ~27kg

KB clean (every rep from floor):
10 @ ~27kg

Didn't have enough strength to continue

Bench press:
20 @ 20 kg
10 @ 60 kg
4x6 @ 80 kg

I took this easy because according to doctor I still shouldn't do it all. But I think that if I stay way from max reps etc, shouldn't be any problems. Ok, it didn't feel so easy, I tried to concentrate to breathing and that messed it a bit.

KB one hand clean & press (every rep from floor):
15 @ ~17kg

KB one hand shoulder press:
15 @ ~17kg

Using wraps on the belt squat is a sweet idea! How much extra weight do the wraps allow you to handle do you think?

Hard to tell  Feels that there are quite many factors that are affecting to weights. Problem is that my knees are hurting sometimes when getting over about 80-90 kg. I don't want to try any PB's without wraps to make more comparable study with this issue  . I think it could be few kg's, not very much with my short wraps.

Hurry session

DB bent over row:
10 @ 40 kg
8 @ 45 kg
4 @ 50 kg (grip problems with left hand)
2 @ 55 kg (grip problems with left hand)
F & 2 @ 60 kg (grip failed with left hand, right was ok)

Handle is too thick for my short fingers, hard to lock grip. Well, good for grip training

DB hammer curl:
3x10 @ 18 kg

Yesterday:

Bench press:
20 @ 20 kg
10 @ 60 kg
2x10 @ 80 kg
10 @ 60 kg
20 @ 20 kg (fast)

Tried to take quite easy with bench.

Push press:
15 @ 20 kg
3x8 @ 40 kg

Didn't feel bad/hard at all. Haven't done this for almost two years. I have to remember that back issue, but maybe I could add this to routines just without too heavy weights.
