Friday:
March 26, 2010

AM:
Fast paced walk - a little over 1 mile.

PM:
Sore :shock: so did a lot of stretching.
Armbar drills - both sides
Combo'd reverse crunches and defensive crunches - 5x, 8
Did a few backward/forward tumblesaults
Practiced escaping headlock on floor drills (2 kinds)
Practiced hook, clasp and roll escape from sidemount drills
Hook/kick/push & roll to base drills
HW
Practiced sacrificial fall escape drills with extra twist (both sides)
Back jump kick drills (each side)
Practiced roundhouse kick drills (each side/ inner & outer)

PM:
Brisk to fast paced walk - a little over 1 mile.

Hi JP! It's usually to and from work; however, if there is a SD/BJJ lesson beforehand it's from the gym. :wink:

Been a little while since I posted, but have been trying to keep my training as consistent as possible throughout April and May.

Consistently walking a little over 1 mile in AM, usually a workout in PM, and walking a little over 1 mile in later PM.

Not consistent: Have only been doing a workout in later, later PM around 2x per week :oops: not sure if that's optimal, but don't want to overtrain so trying to listen to my body.

Also, for my last workout been playing around with different types of workouts (dvd's).

This week:

Monday:

Julianne ballroom dance video (waaay more work than Core Rhythms :shock: :) )

AM:
Fast paced walk - a little over 1 mile

PM:
Armbar drills (both sides)

Leg extensions - 1x, 15, 60lbs
Hamstring curls - 1x, 8, 80lbs
Hyperextensions - 1x, 8, bw
Low cable crossover - 2x, 8, 40lbs (es)
Pull backs - 1x, 8 - 70lbs
Cable rope rear-delt rows - 1x, 8, 70lbs
Rope crunches - 1x, 15, 90lbs
Combo'd reverse crunches and defensive crunches - 6x, 8
Did a few backward/forward tumblesaults
Hook/kick/push & roll to base drills
HW
Back jump kick drills (each side)
Roundhouse kick drills (each side/ inner & outer)

Later PM:
Fast paced walk - a little over 2 miles
SD/BJJ Class
Slow paced walk - a little over 1 mile

Twist and crunch - 3x, 15 (es)

Went to lunch with a friend, so no workout
