excellent this is great!
all you need now is a heater, cushions and a big squashy chair in one corner and a kettle to make a cup of tea, and a packet of biscuits. :D

I haven't been spending as much time in the Eyrie as I would like.
I will hopefully get into some kind of a routine soon :?

It's just hectic what with the moving house and the new puppy etc ...

Training has suffered recently due to the whole moving house chaos.

Anyway, we now have the broadband sorted so I will be able to update properly.
This morning I went for a run :o

I am hoping soon to be in a position to log a full week of training. Let's hope I can keep it going.

I have been really struggling to do anything for months.

My OH has dragged me out running a couple of times.
I managed to go out on my own while on holiday in Devon, but only once. This is really unlike me. I have put weight on and generally feel disgusting.

Anyway, I am going to try to claw back some fitness.
I have decided to try to keep it simple as usually what I do is take on too much and then burn-out.
I am going to do running and some yoga.
I am going to try to leep posting as that will keep me motivated.
Got back from holiday on Tuesday, so haven't really had a chance to get started yet, but I am hoping to get out and run today.
Got some good tunes for my MP3 player (eg. Florence and the Machine "You've got the love" - sends shivers through me!

love and hugs,
mark

Thanks Kali! :D

I did go out for a run last night. It wasn't easy. I didn't time it or anything. It's a fairly short route I used to do in about 35 mins.
I am feeling quite depressed about how unfit I have got. Must try not to dwell om that and just get back into it.

Ran again today. This time I managed to get round the route without stopping to walk. I think the walk-breaks were more psychological than physical the first time. It still felt pretty hard and unpleasant.

I do feel better now I have managed this run. I must just keep at it!

Did some weight training today. Can't say I am back into it properly, but I am at least doing stuff.

Thought I'd post a couple of drawings I have done recently. I am no artist - these are blatant copies of stuff by Hundertwasser (worth a google if you don't know him).
