surely you have ibuprofein gels? They are very common here.

there are many generic brand ibu tablets without lactose in them here. They do have magnesium stearates but they are often vegan and can check from the company about that.

Snatch day.

Powersnatches not to bad, but no real chup. More work needed. At least 75kg is a PB so that is allways something. Felt easy though so should have gotten 80kg. On the other hand it allways feels easy until it fails :) .
Got some advice from national heavyweight champion about bar position for jerks. Think I finally found a somewhat decent position.
Also realized that it is pretty amazing how I can get so much advice and yet learn so slowly  .

Powersnatch:
40kg: 1x3, 50kg: 3x3, 60kg: 1x2, 65kg: 1x2, 70kg: 1x2, 75kg: 1x1, 80kg: 1xf
Push press:
50kg: 1x3, 60kg: 1x3, 4x2, 50kg: 2x2, 60kg: 3x2

Wise words!

They are especially true for explosive and technical lifts, not for grinders like deadlift or bench. I don't do olympic lifts, but noticed the same today (again) with push presses :)

Snatch day.

Been away from training due to not feeling excellent, and then came last of april and first of may. Snatches started out ok, until I tried 90kg and managed a spectacular failure. Didnt finish the pull properly, but still managed to get under the bar. Not even close to locking it out though, arms were too bent to propel myself forward enough so bar kissed my back a bit. Apart from a bit of bruises and something with my right calve nothing much happened though. I am thinking this could qualify as a lolfail but I am not sure.

Powersnatch:
40kg: 1x3, 50kg: 2x3
Snatch:
50kg: 1x3, 60kg: 1x3, 70kg: 1x3, 75kg: 1x2, 80kg: 1x2, 85kg: 1x1, 90kg: 1xlolfail
jerk:
60kg: 1x2, 70kg: 1x1+1xf
Push press:
70kg: 1x3, 80kg: 1x1+1xf

Clean day.
Cleans not too good, will need to work them more. much more. Snatches felt pretty good on the other hand.

Clean pull + clean
70kg: 2x(2+2)
Cleans:
80kg: 1x2 (back not happy so swith to powercleans)
Powercleans:
80kg: 1x3, 85kg: 1x3, 90kg: 1x3 (Felt strong, but technically I think they would fall into the 'atrocious lifting' category')
Snatch:
50kg: 1x3, 60kg: 1x3, 65kg: 1x3, 70kg: 1x3 (solid)
Push press:
50kg: 1x3
Jerk:
50kg: 1x3, 60kg: 1x2
Front squats:
90kg: 3x5
Some core stuff.

No, that's definitely NOT a lolfail (read the definition again!).
A failed snatch with (roughly) bodyweight because the technique wasn't spot on is not a lolfail.

Good training still :)
