surely you have ibuprofein gels? They are very common here.

there are many generic brand ibu tablets without lactose in them here. They do have magnesium stearates but they are often vegan and can check from the company about that.

Powersnatches not to bad, but no real chup. More work needed. At least 75kg is a PB so that is allways something. Felt easy though so should have gotten 80kg. On the other hand it allways feels easy until it fails .
Got some advice from national heavyweight champion about bar position for jerks. Think I finally found a somewhat decent position.
Also realized that it is pretty amazing how I can get so much advice and yet learn so slowly .

They are especially true for explosive and technical lifts, not for grinders like deadlift or bench. I don't do olympic lifts, but noticed the same today (again) with push presses

Snatch day.

Been away from training due to not feeling excellent, and then came last of april and first of may. Snatches started out ok, until I tried 90kg and managed a spectacular failure. Didnt finish the pull properly, but still managed to get under the bar. Not even close to locking it out though, arms were too bent to propel myself forward enough so bar kissed my back a bit. Apart from a bit of bruises and something with my right calve nothing much happened though. I am thinking this could qualify as a lolfail but I am not sure.

A failed snatch with (roughly) bodyweight because the technique wasn't spot on is not a lolfail.
