Saturday

Ninearms and I where lucky enough were lucky enough to get tickets for the London 2012 Olympic weightlifting trial event. Basically an international invitational to test out the venue and everything before the comp. Was a great day and motivation, really amped to hit the gym on Monday.

Sunday in-door rock climbing.
===================
Feeling pretty exhausted like I havent got a solid nights sleep in a week.
Use crew rock climbing, warmup on transverse wall. 5+ then few moves on the 6a before I fell off.
Few easy 4+ and 5's lead climbing to practice clipping in, need to work on keeping my arms locked out not to waste energy.
Top roped and failed a 5+ route then went back to a 5+ over hang lead route. Got half way up and into a Tom Cruise mission impossible move before I fell off.
Pullup routine to end. Fingers sore and something pulled inside my right palm. Solid session.

I like the text that says "if successful will be 1st". Short and informative.

Thursday Morning Woking
================
Feeling good this morning, solid 9 hours sleep.
Warmup
Front Squats: 3xbar, 3x65kg, 3x95kg, 3x105kg, 1x110kg, 1x117.5kg, 125kg PB // boom a front squat PB, plenty more in there for sure, easily nail 130kg within the next couple of weeks.
DB Bench Press: 8x 26kg, 28kg, 30kg // threw them up, feeling great
Pullups: 6,6,5
Stretch

Looking at the video, it looks easy, like the way the bar bounces up at the top of the squat. Depth is deep for me, as flexibility increases might get a little deeper.

Don't forget the leisure centre plates are worth at least an extra 5kg!

and the PBs keep coming!

Saturday OSG xmas session in Manchester
=================================
Warmup and dress up in xmas hat
Deadlift: 3x70kg, 2x120kg, 1x170kg, 1x190kg, 1x200kg, 1x210kg, 1x220kg, 1x232.5kg pb! // havent deadlifted in 4 months since I started Olympic lifting so was just testing the water. Strength had defiantly gone up, back isn't as flat as I would have hoped, looking better though. Strong pull and hint of a more lemony style as I dont grind the bar on my shins like I used to.
Log: 2x72.5kg, 1x82.5kg, 1x87.5kg 2xF 90kg
Flips of the 370kg tyre
2 fails on the conan's wheel pickup, managed to get it up for about half a step on the third attempt // not my event
Viking Press 1 rep at about 100kg?
