Thursday; russian masters squat; week 4; day 2
==============================
My day 1 and day 3 are flipper around, but probably wont matter. Need to get a sunday session in to do the 6x2 day.
Was expecting to train alone today, but luckily Roger and his son were also training, so had some people to shout at me.

Back Squat: 5xbar, 5x60kg, 3x90kg, 6x6 105kg // huge volume, probably some kind of rep PR for me. Might have done 5x5 at 110kg at some stage. Not really sure, but feels like strength is coming back and this is with no belt, high bar and oly shoes. Mental note "NEVER STOP BACK SQUATTING WITH SOLID VOLUME".
Pullups: 3x6
Ida Core routine. 1st and last 1 minute plank with 10kg plate on back.

Totally stuffed after session, lungs feel broken and starving. Good session.
Feeling very positive about training.
Icing Knee.

Seems like a lot of members have come here lately, to enjoy our kale and snow. No VF meet-ups though! :(

So if you lift tomorrow, that's 6 days in a row?

Madness...

More actually.

Monday olympic, Tuesday 6x2, Wed Olympic, Thurs 5x5.
So will be 9 days in a row. Then 3 days off (on the beach), my schedule is so complicated I just need to train hard when I can.

My nike romaleos arrived today! https://www.strengthshop.co.uk/nike-rom ... shoes.html
I bought them mainly as a fashion accessory, but after having squatted in them today, think they actually might give me a few extra KG's. The heels "apparently" are worked out on a % based on the shoe size. So little higher than normal lifting shoes for the bigger sizes. This really suits me with my lanky stiff arms and legs. Highly recommended!

Squat week 5; session 1 6x2
=======================
Warmup
Back Squat: 6x2 105kg // really easy, 1 minute rest between sets
Pullups: 6,6,5
Max curls till fail.

Was actually thinking of upping the weight to 110kg, then I remembered.

BOOM!
My back even looks flat and my hips and shoulders rise at the same time. Looking almost like a weightlifter.

Wednesday
========
Warmup
Snatch: 3x3 20kg, 3x45kg, 3x50kg, 3x55kg, 3x60kg // BOOM! been after 60kg triple for a while.
C&J:3x320kg, 2x65kg, 2x75kg, 2x80kg, 2x85kg, 3x90kg // 1 clean multiple jerks. 3x90kg is PR! Was only going to do double but camera guy missed the first 2 (he missed the third also).
New shoes are the business.

Didn't squat cos I am squatting tomorrow and feeling tired.
