Sunday madness;

swimming in the am. Stayed up too late fannyin aboot, so didn't make the alarm call at 8am. Got up back of 9 though, and made it to the pool for 10. Full of kids  Weird, last week when I'd got out at 10 it was empty. Swam for a wee bit, almost went banjo coz of not being able to do straight lengths, then asked the kind assistant lady to put up a lane for me which she did. Tired, and no drive for distance today though, so did alternate front crawl and breast-stroke lengths for 600m. Guess I will eventually go to front crawl only, but it really gets the lungs pumping, so fitness not quite up to it yet, certainly not continous. Decent sesh in the end though.

Strongman

Trained with the Drew-man, and had a decent sesh.

Log
12x30
6x50
5x60
5x65
4x2x70
3x70

Farmers walks - all with turn at 15m
w/up w/30's
30mx60
30mx70
30mx70

Stones
2x1x80
1x100 - flew, felt nice.
1x117 - not super easy off the floor, but the load was solid.
1x100

I'm suspecting an evil scheme by the Cultees to lull us by posting low numbers, so that we think ourselves safe for the Edi Strength Weekend :?

I'm not surprised that the pool was empty after you swam in it, but it's really weird that the kids didn't run away this time when they saw you entering the pool. Maybe they're getting used to you - kinda like timid wild animals who become more trusting when they realize you don't try to hurt them :)
