excellent weights you are pressing these days mate :D - especially impressed with the overhead pressing - when is the next maxout gonna be for your bench, and what do you think that you will get?

and what will it take to get you to squat??? your numbers would shoot up about 15places with a proportional squat!!

You gotta test your squat, Hannibal. I am currently above you on the strength table, and I don't think i'm ready to claim the title of "Melbourne's strongest vegan"

thanks jonathan.. next bench max is coming soon.. can currently only go up in 5kg increments so i might have to jury rig some sorta way to strap some lighter standard weights to the o-bar.. and go for 122kg or something like that.. or i might risk pulping myself again and try 125, probably what i'll do :)

and operation ghetto squat rack (formerly operation shallow grave) is in progress so expect some squat numbers posted as soon as my multiple injuries are sorted.

01/02 (wed):
oh pressing 2x4 @ 70kg then 3x3 @ 70kg

03/02 (fri):
superfast benching.. 6x6 @ 70kg.. didn't feel like it had accomplished anything by the end of it all though.. doubt i'll include anything like this again.
pullups 5x3xbw. tried a chin up but still got wrist problems, a lot less painful than last attempt though. i estimate (factoring in the extra damage i just did) about three months more resting before i can do chinups again. upside is that i'm slowly improving my pullup ability.
bent over barbell rows.. 6x6 @ 70kg..

continued..

not much going on at all.. some park training about a week ago.. pullups, dips and monkeybar rows.. aborted halfway through after messing up my neck. i was just thinking the only part of me not injured at the moment is my shins then last night in the dark i walked slam into the new coffee table.

21/02 (tues): bench.. light back into it. 5x5 @ 90kg then 3x100kg. deadlifted a few reps at 135kg causing some temporary leg damage. oh pressed 3x3 @ 70kg

fantastic :D Remember to take pictures of this infamous work of art!

Were you trying to work your explosiveness and bar speed?

If that is the case, then 6x6 would probably not be useful. I do my speed benching as 8 sets of 3 reps, controlled down, pause, and explosive up with all my strength and might like it was my max weight.

Finding the right weight is tricky, the point is not the weght, but the bar speed. When it is fast, you go up, but only then.

14/05 (sun):
dl.. warmup then 5x140kg
pullups.. 3x3xbw.. tried a chinup single, was like floating in comparison to pullups, and there was no pain, so think i'm just about healed there.

21/05 (sun):
bench.. warmup then 3x3x110kg
deadlift.. warmup then it started pouring at the working set, so a drenched 3x150kg (also i'm not sure whether these are actually reps.. since i reset for about 20-30 seconds in between each pull, maybe singles or something in between)
