Sounds good to me. I guess this means I better get to posting regularly also. I'm tempted to say longer than 30 days and (if possible) picking a local race to end with. Official results/race photo as proof of finishing the challenge. Just an idea.

Thursday- 5 mile run easy

Friday- 6 mile run with 4 hill repeats. ****I'm so out of shape after being sick and I can't seem to stay well. Sore throat

My cherry blossoms started to bloom today!
Ohio went from a fierce Winter to what feels like Summer, with a few days in the 80s already.

Tuesday-6 mile run with 20 min tempo
pm -30 min bike on trainer. Going next weekend up to Tyler to get a custom fit on my bike. Hopefully that will help with some tightness in my lower back.

Wednesday-3 mile run nice and easy.
Pm swim- this is just not coming back so easily. Breathing is all messed up.

Thursday-8 mile run with every other mile at tempo

Friday-am spin class  I'm not sure what the instructor was on but wow she had energy for 5am

Yes and I am so happy! My back isn't bothering me at all riding now!!!! And I can definitely tell a difference is my legs.

Ok so I am trapped on a plane and on my way to see my granddaughter come into this world tomorrow......at least she better wait until tomorrow. Left the younger kids with a friend and work at home. I did bring my running shoes!!!
(and yes I'm old or at least feeling it)

Monday- 7 mile run easy in the light rain.
pm-swim....finally seem to be getting back to some fitness in the pool. Not much but better

Tuesday-4 mile run with 1 mile at 7:25
pm- ride-1hr out of town with some rolling hills, med. pace

Wednesday-6 mile run with some sprints at the end.
AND here I sit.

I know. There needs to be more hours in the day.
But since you so kindly bumped me up (I would never have done that) I will try to do better. I have finally come up with a training plan for an October marathon. Now I just need to decided which October marathon. My beautiful new bike is going to have to wait for me until I get caught back up with life and the heat drops some in the evening. Right now my focus is running and swimming. I finally am back to where I was before I got sick with swimming. And I am really enjoying it. 3200 meters today and felt strong until the last 100. Running ....well it is my other focus but I would rather be biking....but I want to get my Boston time in October and go with some friends to run it next year. We'll see if it works out but it would be fun and I promised myself to go and not eat pizza!
So I'll start posting my running plan and if anyone has advice on how to keep swimming and possible biking let me know. But it took running high miles to get my Boston time so I am guessing it will again.
New job is fun. It seems a lot of my students are older and they tend to take things more seriously and actually study. One of my training partners is getting ready for her first Ironman. I am jealous. I just keep thinking if I hadn't gotten sick I wouldn't have lost my motivation but can't change that now.
SOOOO
Monday-6 mile run easy with a few hills
Tuesday-45 minute run and yoga.....needed that
Wednesday-3200 swim. Have I ever said I HATE fist drills
Going to bed now so I can be up at 4:30 and run!!

I agree with you about needing more hours in the day. Good luck with your training for an October marathon.

What a slacker I've been on logging
Training has been going good but spare time is severely lacking at the moment.
But to make a long story nice and short.
Signed up for the White Rock Marathon in December. It is not my best shot at getting my Boston time again but it is a marathon I have been wanting to run. Also, I'm looking for a fall Olympic tri.
Hopefully I can start logging more often!

Even if you haven't been logging here, you certainly have trained, which of course, is the important part! We'll be glad if we see more posts from you though, since they inspire us and we can cheer you on.
