What you've highlighted is something I already know about myself, that I have a very short attention span
I'm always playing around reading on the internet and working on a spreadsheet for my next training program... I get 1-2 sessions in and then think "fuck this, I should be doing xyz", so then I change it up.
Net result is not much planning when it comes to training. I have a basic over-riding principle: to squat, bench and deadlift regularly, usually once a week at least - and then I tend to base it on how I feel. If my legs are sore, I'll bench, if my upper body is sore, I'll squat or deadlift. Or I might on the fly just throw all plans out the window if a bunch of people at the gym are squatting or doing rack pulls or something.
I'm probably not the best person to be giving out training advice, really
