Personally I'm against any kind of drug use (except for medical reasons if you don't have much of a choice). I think Pete's right in saying that everybody should know for themselves what they put into their body. It is a wholly different matter altogether though, whether or not these things are being discussed on this board. Like you said, there are plenty of other boards where steroid users and meatheads alike can discuss their practices. Lets keep this board nice and clean for vegan athletes who want to exercise 'clean'. Might be a good idea to put something to the extend in the intro, so that everybody wanting to join in is clear on that (if that is what other people would agree to). I personally have no interest in anyone's queries/antics about using either steroids or animal products.

I'd like steroid users as well to be or go vegan, so i'd love them to be here.

Any kind of steroid discussion here would be stupid or even dangerous because there is not enough knowledge, so i think people should be directed to other boards for that. Also, if it offends people here then it shouldn't happen.

I'm a natural trainer, but since in almost every sports most top athletes are steroid users sooner or later there will be vegan athletes coming here who do use. I already know that a few steroid user veggies/vegans do browse this forum from time to time for nutritional advice, recipes etc. And for sure there are more out there.

I know some steroid users regret ever starting and can change their minds about it so for that reason alone i think everyone should be welcome to the board.

I'm also not convinced about arguments that steroid use would not be vegan. We can't start rewriting the definitions of veganism on the fly. People abuse their bodies in many ways, i mean, there are thousands of vegan extacy, speed, cocaine users out there as well.

Some sort of poll might be in order, just difficult to come up with options when i am not even sure myself what i would vote for  Give us couple of days, and we try to cover all options.

That's what I think. I just don't want to be "informed" of their steroid use and their perception of pros and cons (or any polls like "have you ever thought of using steroids" for example). If people want to do that kind of stuff, fine. I just don't think that this is the appropriate boardd to discuss this. There are a gazillion boards around already where these topics are being discussed, so I can't see the need to discuss them here.

Would you want a discussion on the "benefits" of using any of the above on this board? Didn't think so (or at least I'd hope not). Is there anything against wanting to keep this a board for 'clean', vegan training? Anyone is welcome to join this board, as long as they keep within the boundaries that have been set up (I don't care if a meathead joins and wants to discuss what veg to eat before/during/after weight training, if you catch my drift). There's plenty of other boards about where using animal products as well as drugs aren't an issue and might even be encouraged. I really value the fact that this is a place where vegan (and I'd hope), natural athletes can come and discuss things.
