Goals for 2015

Postby sergio » Sat Jan 03, 2015 11:44 am

Mandatory thread!

First thing, happy new year y'all. I'm not going to write anything like a goal, because I'm cursed and everytime I set one, something terrible happens in form of injury, demotivation, natural disaster or plague. But is always good to read yours, share!

+300 kg total at the end of year, am i doing crack? Sq:110 Pb:90 Dl:130? +350?
I accidentally replaced all of my blood with coffee.

Hmmm,
OK here goes. Realsitic first, then dream in brackets.

Run:
sub 21 for 5km (sub20).
Finish a marathon in under 4hrs. (without breaking)
Swim:
1 hour timetrial covering over 3.9km. (cruising at 1:20/100m)
Cycle:
To ride regularly again. (60+ miles/week every week.)
It's not what you do occasionally that makes a difference, it's that which you do everyday that brings progress.

I've decided I'm really rubbish at planning a year in advance for proper goals and I'm prone to being rather over ambitious in setting them. I know I want to be less fat, there's no good reason I can't maintain a significantly lower body fat %. I need to not fuck up my back again.

It'd be nice to make British qualification for bench. Compete once in the first half of the year for experience/eligibility. Northern was Sept last year so 100/67.5 or 112.5/75 by then
