My new kitten

Postby Catt Queen » Fri Jan 06, 2012 10:46 am

When I checked I found that "she" is actually a he, so his name is Loki -

Loki is the boldest, bravest, most forward kitten I've ever had! As soon as he walked in he acted as if he'd been here before - he actually behaves like a big cat rather than a nine week old kitten!

You'd better keep him away from any Rhine Maidens and Neibelungs that might be hanging about.

And if he start's meeowing about a Rainbow Bridge then you've got real trouble!

LOKI

My new kitten is a little git,
I’m still smitten by its feline whit.
It was labled as a darling female cat;
Instinct told me there were summut up with that.

So before cementing our witch’s marriage
I thought I’d better check on its undercarriage.
Turned the squirming bugger upside down,
Saw a shocking sight that made me frown.

Its family jewels were swinging free,
Boldly unfettered for all to see.
And my new pussy, described as a she,
Proudly displays that, what makes her a he.

Any tips for dealing with a kitten who bites and attacks feet and hands, specifically at night? We don't play with her using our hands, we always play with toys, and we try to reserve hands for holding and petting, but she had a bad influence when she was younger and now it feels like she won't be trained! Has this ever happened to you?
Lovin' it!

They normally grow out of it. I either distract them with toys or, if I'm trying to sleep, shut them out of the room - the latter is not always successful as door scratching is about as peaceful as being pounced on. The joys of cats... I love 'em

Cry out in alarm and anguish like a small animal would (basically a squeaky yowl). The kitten will respond to this more than a shout of "ow!". Then follow up by retracting your feet/hands and growling.

If this doesn't quite get the message across, try a gentle cuff to the side of the face, or touching the kitten in a place cats don't like to be touched, like belly or tail.

Basically mimic the way mummy cat would discipline them but without the teeth and claws.
