Survey websites

Does anyone have any experience with these? The kind that you do surveys and they pay you for each one? The ones I have looked at credit a paypal account, or once you have reached 10 ounds, send you a voucher for a shop of your choice.

I'm quite keen on joining one, but the third party stuff freaks me a bit. I don't know who would be looking at my personal details and any repercussions.
Although the effeminate nature of my username may suggest otherwise, my gender actually falls into the male category.

I've been a member of Yougov for quite a few years now, I think its quite good. Usually get about 50p or £1 per survey, and get sent a cheque when you get to £50. Though this might take a while, sometimes there's only a survey every week or two. And there are quite a few surveys which are just a prize draw entry, though I've never won anything from them.

I think the surveys can be quite interesting, there's a fair bit of political stuff. You don't have give much personal details to sign up, I think its just your name/address/email. And all of your answers in surveys should be anonymous, they have a privacy policy which says identifiable data won't be passed to third parties.
If you want to sign up to Yougov, I could send you a referral link which should get me a few extra points, let me know.
