Hiking Fox had mentioned that she was interested but was worried she'd slow us down. Im trying to persuade another couple of folk I know but I may have exagerated how difficult it is :(

I dont know many hill fit vegans so I struggled a bit, Ive tried to encourage everyone else to invite folk too...

There's a rumour that we're charging £20 which we're not, its free... no idea how such things develop :?

Still want to go but won't be able to confirm until closer to the date, with it being the last year of uni and job search etc.

Is there a deadline by when we need to confirm participation?

Doing a lot of running and uphill sprints so should be in good shape if I go

OK, so folk just need to let us know the week before if poss. We'll be meeting at the bridge opposite the car park in Horton at 8.30 for a 9am start on 16th, we'll leave at 9am sharp.

There's really rubbish phone signal round there but Ill pm my mob to everyone who is comining anyway. We'll be in the pub the night before too so those folk around then can meet up. The food is poor but edible.

Only a couple of weeks to go!!!

Im not raising any sponsorship money this year, but Dean who's taking part is raising money for Hillfields Animal Sanctuary, home to over 300 rescued animals!

Could folk please, please, please sponsor Dean?

Thank you!! Paypal dean_bracher@yahoo.co.uk

Just found out all my deadlines. The presentation for my final year group disseration will be on the 20th April, meaning I probably won't have much time to sleep let alone do this

Hope it goes well and I will try to join in another year

Update:

Attendees;

Dublin Dave
the stoatyone
mabli
philthy_builder
D (don't know ya screen name, sorry buddy)
mrs stoatyone

tale of the run:

Stoaty one and missus dropped back for casual walk round, everyone else made tastier pace. Weather gorgeous. Mabli's lemon cake lush. Weather nice after a slightly misty start. Mental campsite owner amusing with poetry. His friend learning to play the bagpipes at half ten at night slightly less amusing. All decided to return home on the second night after first nights camping being decidedly nippy.

Top day, cheers to Mabli for pulling it together!
