England.
Scotland.

Erm.

That's it.

But they were such beautiful falafels, every one of which launched me on a new journey. From a bulging strangely brown bagful from 'Gaby's' in Soho, London, to a hastily scoffed wrap while running for the last train home in Manchester the falafels mark new chapters in my life.

Have you ever shared a falafel at 4am with a crying, overdrunk friend? Have you ever lined your stomach with one before plunging into battle? Have you sweated and toiled over the deep fat fryer in Edinburgh, plunging little balls of your latest mix into the seething foaming oil, praying that they'll hold ...that there's enough coriander to please the masses while the latest wannabee poet warms up their rehearsal behind you? No?

What I lack in Geography, I like to think I make up for in emotion.

Falafels. Food of the gods.

Australia
UK

I've been to other places, but as they did not contain falafel-to-go they are not worth even mentioning.

gonna have to work on my list a bit......

I've had Falafel in 2 out of 3 countries that I've traveled to. Yes, I know that I've only been to 3 countries but so fawking what?!

And since our north american states and provinces tend to be larger than your european countries, I think they should all count seperately! On that note: I have eaten falafel in US states from coast to coast and border to border plus British Columbia in Canada!

I almost had falafel at a Lebanese place in Sonora, Mexico but surprisingly enough, it was just far too expensive down there!

May I just say how impressed I am at how widely traveled you all are? Been out of the US twice, both times to Canada. Hardly counts!

I'm going overseas for the first time ever in two weeks, to Ireland. Maybe they have falafel?

...

Naaahhh.

:D
