What fish would you be?

Amphioxus. Branchiostoma lanceolatum

It sits there as a close relative of the vertebrates, right at the fork in the branch. Interesting group of animals in an evolutionary sense. Boring as fuck otherwise, but like the narwhals, has a song

I think I would quite like to be a small colourful fish that darts around the coral enjoying the sunshine

Colour wise I am thinking some electric blue and vibrant reds with a few splashes of yellow. Some fancy fins and some tentacles............

I know it's not a fish, but it might be the animal I love the most:
Blue whale:

I'd be a Salmon - because they swim up hill.


If not a salmon I'd be a trout because they have a cool name - although apparently a trout is a kind of non-migratory salmon!!
