Cool pics! Well done on the fight with a more experience opponent.

How come so many thai boxing girls have braided hair?

200fly at the Michigan Masters State Meet. Final Heat. First in my AG. 3rd overall?

Medley Relay. 2nd to final heat. Heat winners. Next heat was a solo heat in which four guys who swam olympic trials broke the US Master's Record.

200 Breaststroke. Last heet. 1st AG. 3rd OA. PB in last 5 years.

These are from two years ago.
My second triathlon ever... I won the swim, and TOTALLY failed on the run. I was just off the bike here, and at 5th place overall... and soon that would turn to 100th place OA. Here I am before the meltdown.

I am better at both biking (no more sailing along) and running, but still not strong at running.

oh! Here's two post-race photos from my first Open Water Swim this two months ago, the Motor City Mile

I got third place in the Masters Division, out of 33pl. They spelled my name wrong, again.

Here's a video. It's not of the swim, but of the pre-race gathering. You can see my back in the first video in the fourth frame after the kyakers in the beginning (at 29 seconds). We are wearing the yellow caps (for the Mile swim; blue was for the 5k). My friend from the pics above is looking into the camera on the right, and I'm right next to him closer to the middle; the only dark skinned guy with a start tattoo where my neck meets my shoulders.

...and another video, but this one is just of the women/girls? almost creepy?

It went very well, 2nd place of the three person teams, and 2nd place overall. It was a tough fight from the first to the last hour with the leaders, they were at a constant 15 minute lead the final six hours, and had to really push it to not let us get any closer.

wow. That's so hardcore.

Today I did a race (got 4th overall!), and the announcer mentioned that I always look so clean and put together right after my races. He suggested that I get a little dirty. ...but wow. In that pic, each dirt mark each has a story. That's a cool photo Fredrik.
