[quote="fatalman"]many hours later..
and a messed up v.
i originally cut out and tried to sew on letters. but i found out a sewing machine is much harder to use then it looks.
so i resorted to painting. the first fabric paint bled really bad, which resulted in a bigger v. the rest is a second kind of paint. doesnt look to bad. i think silkscreened it would look alot better.
let me know what you think.
I have made a shirt aswell! But I did't knew I shuld be using "vlisofix" or whatever it's called.
Some day I will make a southpark lookalike pink tank top with the text BEANCAKE!
(I bought a Janome MC4800 last winter/spring but I have only done three things with it so far ;/, so I'm very much a noob
The non perfect stitching is there on purpose, but since I have no vlisofix I'm afraid working out and washing the shirt will wear away the text. I can always do a new one thought =P
Fatalman: I only used needles, but if you have that gluestuff you iron onto the text it will make it harder to rip and also glue it onto the surface beneath, so you can iron the letters to the shirt first and then sew them.
