namaste yoga

Postby SunnyPaw » Wed Dec 02, 2009 4:38 pm

Hi all,
New here, and excited to be part of the group!

I am just wondering if anyone is a fan of the program Namaste Yoga. I love it, and was wondering if there are any other programs/DVD's that are similar (but different - to offer challenges in another way).

Hope everyone has a SUNNY day!

Hi KaliBaby -
It is a program that is on some cable networks in the US (and I suppose elsewhere, according to their website: http://www.katepotteryoga.ca/namastetv.html) - - they do a hatha vinyasa style, but I particularly like their flow, the scenery, faint music, etc. http://www.namaste.tv/yoga.html While studios are great, and have their advantages, I enjoy doing this from my home on a daily basis. Just wondering if anyone was familiar with other teachers that have a similar style, just for something occasionally different.

Thanks!
:)

Namaste

To SunnyPaw:

Yes. I've seen it on TV and it looks like something I would love to do. It gets on a 6 p.m. here in the U.S. I want to try it. It is all stretching moves, but it seems like a good workout and also good for keeping our bodies flexible. Have you tried it SunnyPaw?

I am definitely going to try Namaste yoga one of these days. I just have to jiggle some of my chores around so I could be free at 6 p.m.
