Found this article about athletics, yoga and veganism.
"Triathletes, cyclists, and hardcore Ashtangis are among the new crop of athletes proving that a vegan diet can be a winning one."

thanks for the article Emm! I'm surprised veganism isn't promoted more than vegetarianism in the yoga community. Yes, being vegetarian helps cleanse a person's moral and ethical plate but how can you argue that pain and suffering doesn't occur in the dairy industry?

interesting article, and nice balance of comments with some education about B12 sources going on too!

My own yoga studio promotes veganism, which is awesome. They've had a number of events and served only vegan food.

Awesome! Far more than can be said for my Aikido dojo, which has social nights around Bar-B-Que'd animals every Thursday.

Ugh! I still remember having discovered a very vegan-friendly omni restaurant in Porter Square, Cambridge (MA, not UK lol) due to my Aikido dojo.
Gods I miss Aikido. I lack both time and money these days, mostly time. Glad I'm just able to take yoga, at least.
