Vegan Mountaineering Boots

Postby stevie_j_marsh » Sun Sep 02, 2012 5:20 pm

Hi guys,

Quick question, does anyone know of any vegan friendly crampon compatible mountaineering boot manufacturers?

After extensive searching I just can't seem to find any non-leather ones - maybe I'm just not looking in the right place but any help would be much appreciated :).

It looks like Scarpa have a few non-leather models in their range. Not cheap, mind...

La Sportiva Baturas and Spantiks are synthetic (no idea on glue) but may be overkill depending where you're headed,
