[quote="chewybaws"]105.5cm, at least baldy seen it ;) There was more there but it was first thing in the session and didn't want to risk disabling myself with a box jump miss

Table updated, you should have got me to film it!

An increase of vertical jump is sure sign of weight loss.

Maxed out tonight and kept on edging it up till it was crazy high. We didn't have a tape measure so ended up using a pieces of A4 paper to measure, 4 pieces 29.7*4=118.9cm and it was a little bit higher, so to be conservative calling it 118cm (its probably closer to 120cm). Nothing much more in there.

It is to the top of my belly button, kind of freaks the mind out looking at it.

78.3cm
70kg
165.1cm tall

probably a wee bit more in the tank as I did this one twice but i want to be conservative and not break my neck :)

Oh and the stack of plates looks cool 8)

edited to add: shouldn't we be distinguishing here between vertical leap (difference between standing reach and vertical jump reach) and box jumps as the latter will always be higher?

I mean look at these standards

Average Vertical Leap of NCAA Div. 1 Football player: 29-31 inches.
Average Vertical Leap of NCAA Div. 1 Basketball player: 27-30 inches.

taken from http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/henkin6jjjj.htm

also some discussion of box jump standards here http://board.crossfit.com/showthread.php?t=39004&page=2

It's a shame my gym doesn't have plyoboxes, I want to train this. Need to find someplace to do it.

My main concern are slam dunks, and upgrading street basketball to next level
I accidentally replaced all of my blood with coffee.
