Walking near London

Hi all!

I live in London but don't go on many long country walks as I would love to. There would be many within London to do to start off with but also to go further afield would be fun. Is anyone else interested in meeting up at the weekends and going rambling?

I'm a big walker and would love to join you! living in Norwich right now though so would have to plan ahead because of train ticket prices and what not.

Whereabouts in London are you? I'm an Easterner, there are heaps of quality walks along the canal network 'round here.

We've got lots of good walking round here in the Chiltern Hills, and Reading is only 25 mins from Paddington on the train. You are really welcome to come out this way for a walk. There's a vegan-friendly pub nearby too.

Fantastic. Thank you! So sorry for such a late reply. I'm in North London. Will let you know when I could head out towards Reading. Chiltern Hills too! Hopefully the weather will be warmer soon for an improved walk. Either way is good though!

I am in South London, so have a few commons around me... Also, I'm not too far from Richmond Park and can get to Hamstead Heath or Greenwich Park pretty easy... There's a rambler's group based in Wandsworth who go on plenty of walks as well.

I am up for some rambling and meeting new people.
