Lose fat..need help

Postby til666 » Fri Oct 23, 2009 10:07 am

Hi,

at first: my english sucks, but i try my best

I like to lose fat..
1 1/2 year ago i trained alot like kickboxing, muscle training, running and so on.. but i moved to another city, had some personal trouble (relationship) and stopped training..

Im a fan of good vegan pasta and eat alot.. now i try to change my lifestyle a bit..

I need some ideas for a good training/diet to lose fat (gain muscles is not that important for me right now)
My last 2 days looked like:
(for example)

Breakfast: Cereals+SoyMilk (not the very healthy cereals, but vegan and without much sugar),sometimes fruits

Lunch: vegan tofu pasta (cant stop that), or rice+spinach/potatoes (like aloo palak)..i try to not make noodles every day (but im an adict)

Dinner: nothin, or salad, brown bread, fruits

-i drink alot water during the day.. 2liter minimum
-i dont eat after 6 (is it unhealthy?)

One day i go out running for 30-40 minutes, with low speed, couse my condition isnt good..
The other day i use my "stationary bike" for 40 minutes..
(couse i can train AND watch a film  )
The next step will be integrated pushup-training during the day-like 20 in the morning and always when i got time (think 120 pushups or more a day is possible)..

im not sure if im doing that right, so i hope you can give me some advise
for diet/training.. im really kinda "out of fitness" and have to start from zero..

thx, til

All sounds solid to me (I particularly like the 120 press-ups a day thing)

You gotta remember that change will take time though, don't give up if change don't happen in the next coupla months...

I found it helpful to set objective targets (how fast/far I could run, how much I could lift etc.) That way if I was in a bad mood with myself I could still see progress towards a goal, even if my body wasn't looking much different.

Good luck!

I personally find if I eat a lot of pasta I'll put on weight. I find that rice is much better for any weight loss activities.

don't skip meals
don't eat too much bread, potatoes, pasta
keep on running with a slow pace, just increase the amount of time you're running
