How long did it take to build your fitness levels?

I have always been resonably fit and active, but then went through a phase where I wasn't doing a great deal which was about a year a go now. I bought myself another bike and started cycling again as well as doing spinning classes and realised how unfit I had allowed myself to become. Luckily with exercising in the past it didn't take long for my metabolism to improve and I noticed weight loss after two months. Once I managed my asthma better my fitness levels improved loads!

9 months on I am quite fit, but I know that I can still achieve a lot more.

I see exercise as pleasurable and a chance to clear my head instead if a chore. If you adopt that mindset you will start to enjoy your exercise and you will see results.
