Climbing meetup?

Postby dublin dave » Mon Oct 05, 2009 9:05 pm

Anybody fancy a climbing meetup in the English Peak District? Sometime in November?

I know some great camping/climbing spots...

I'd be tempted!

I'm not much of a climber but I've dabbled a bit. I have shoes and a harness (& maybe a chalk bag) but no rope or gear or anything.

I think I'm too much of a beginner to participate

What are you thinking trad or boulder? Personally I only really boulder these days plus if it's cold bouldering will be easier with a big group.
I'm keen either way!
Ps I'm fairly experianced so would be happy to help new climbers, so don't be put off.

I'm interested if suitable for beginners with no equipment.

I can make all of those dates except 7th-8th Nov.

I have lots of gear, so don't worry about that.

I was thinking trad. I have my SPA and would set up topropes for folk. I'm not much of a boulderer...and prefer doing routes...

I'm still free all of those except the 7th/8th.

Can I suggest the 'Outside' cafe, Hathersage as a meeting place, as they have some good vegan options and are cheap.

My suggestion is to have the climbing meetup on the 28th and 29th of November...

Who is up for this?
