Hi V VII hero!

Here is a few ideas for your upper middle back. The muscles there tend to support movenment of the shoulder blades when the lats are being used for example.
My upper back muscles are shockingly weak so i'm doing these exercise too.

Well known exercises
Deadlifts
Pull ups (the pronated grip is better for shoulder blade movement and therefore the muscles used)

Lesser known exercises
Supine pull ups - facing upwards with heels touching the ground only, pull yourself up to a bar for example on a smith rack.
Alternative supine pull ups - put feet on a bench and lower body to ground each time
Bent over rows - pull the weight to upper chest rather than groin

Others
Exercises that use your shoulders probably will also target these muscles.

If you need anything explained better, let me know.

BACK on topic....(get it??_)

Postby CENTURION 2 CENTS » Fri Jun 18, 2004 5:57 pm

Sorry about the sore subject, I won't even go there now that has arisen...
Though I also found a thread on Vegan Sex, though conversation seems a
bit trite in that thread and a bit graphic so I won't bother posting that.

Thanks for the profile link, I'll check things out... and now I should stick on topic, I will from now on....

Please post or PM any other vegan aspects that you think might be interesting on that site please btw!.....
That would be cool seeing how you're a member there and it being a sxe inclusive site, veganism appears
to have its place there I guess too, or at least tries to make an impact I suppose.

Cheers,
C2C.

Stiff-leg deadlifts seem to hit the lower traps pretty hard if you keep your shoulder blades retracted (which you should always do).

nothing hits your upper back better than barbell rows. pull the bar just above the hips and wedge your shoulders and shoulder blades together and keep your head up. good luck mate.
