So i've finished making some olympic dumbells out of some standard ones (retrofitted the sleeves) but I need some really strong glue/adhesive to hold the sleeves in place.

Any ideas?

The Ready Brek leftovers in my kids' cereal bowls - welded like f*cking cement.

Sorry not a helpful answer I know.

Ready Brek or Weetabix will do the job.

Hi again folks,

okay decided to make some more equipment so am looking up industrial strength vegan glues again.

Found some stuff so thought I'd share

http://www.weldbond.com/faq This one is vegan and also (nicely) seems fairly green. Looks like doesn't look like it works with cast iron or aluminium :( Sold by VeganEssentials http://www.veganessentials.com/catalog/weldbond-vegan-all-purpose-glue.htm

"EcoGlue" is vegan and seems not to be animal tested (90% sure just based on fact it's not throwing up anything and vegans seem to be using it)
http://www.eclecticproducts.com/eg_extreme.htm will probably be going with this one.

Bottom line there is a surprising number of vegan glues out there!
